Changed:
  • The original behavior of not being able to push Clickers was reintroduced back, by default you won't be able to push Clickers.

Added:
  • New sandbox option: Allow pushing with weapon. This option allows an easy mode of no push of Clickers by allowing you to push when you have a weapon in hand. If you don't, you can't push the Clicker. You can fully disable the no push with the original sandbox option.

1.3.0

This update is an important one as it is the first rework of infected visuals. Next on the line are the Stalkers, then possibly the Bloater model or at least its texture to be in line with the new infected visuals. Please thank St. Paige for her work on the Clicker and Mystery for her work on the textures. Both should work on the next visuals.

Changed:
  • Rework of Clicker model. 4 variants created by St. Paige and texturing by Mystery. The clicker fungi hat still drops as a trophy (or food if you're into that)
  • Items are now stored in the TLOU module. Old TLOU Infected items will disappear as of this change (the hat fungi only)
  • Updated image of infected in sandbox options
  • Updated the main menu images
  • Updated mod icon with the new clicker model

Added:
  • New infection system based on TLOU lore. It replaces the mortality rate but isn't affected by transmission so you can combine both
  • Clickers will be bloody, dirty and have holes in their clothes
  • Stalkers will always have half bloody and dirty clothes (less than Clickers but usually more than Runners)
  • New main menu image of a Clicker

Fixed:
  • Check Upstairs compatibility
  • Reanimated players no longer have their inventory disappear. Sadly this means they can't become infected. A solution will be explored in the future

1.2.0

This is a massive update, there's drastic changes to major features of Zomboid Forge and thus problems can arise. Please make sure to make proper reports if you spot any problems
Changes were done to the health system in sandbox options, so if you want to have default HP for the Runners and Stalkers and for them to not use the custom damage system of ZF (better not using it, even if it was improved), set their HP to 0 which will deactivate the custom HP.

Changed:
  • Rework of Mod Options
  • Nametag system got reworked, there are now new mod options and customization possibilities available to players (change font, how long the nametags last...)
  • Complete rework of the damage system. The source of all the desync problems was found and zombies should behave way better now.
  • Code improvements and optimizations

Added:
  • New sandbox option to go with the new nametag system in Zomboid Forge
  • Check Upstairs compatibility. Zombies are refered as "infected" in the voicelines, and their nametag shows above their head when checking upstairs for zombies.

Fixed:
  • Rework of stat updating to optimize it and make sure zombies change movespeed instantly
  • Visuals should update instantly now too, making sure a surprise Bloater doesn't appear in front of you
