The button prompt on 'Swap' was removed, to avoid confusing controller players. It took a while since I tried for a while to mess with controller integration, but it's out of my reach for now. Sorry to everyone who prefers controller! Hopefully I can get it sorted out in the future for you all.

'Dark Mirror' has been updated to include 'Frost Skull' and 'The Absolute' alongside 'Davy Jones' and 'Champion'.
The new 'Hunter's Gift' Boss relic has been added! It should add a little consistency in finding Skulls you enjoy.
Cleaned up the keyword highlighting of some text descriptions.


-Frost Skull-
'Frost Skull' is back, with hopefully his last rework under his belt! I tried to maintain the rough idea he had set up before, but implement it in a more functional way that avoids the issues of its father and puts a nice new edge on how he goes about things that other skulls will be happy to interact with! With this comes an adjustment to his cards, which were already a little outdated for his old kit let alone now. They should be more considerable pickups for more than just the man of the hour, and should be more synergistic when you do have the skull they belong to.

'Frost Skull' has been returned to the starter deck and drop pools.

-Passive: Give Block lost at the start of the turn to ALL enemies.
-Bonepile: Gain 1 'Frozen'.
-Swap: Channel 2 'Blizzards'.

'Blizzard'
-Passive: At the end of your turn all enemies lose HP equal to their Block, up to 2.
-Evoke: EVERYONE gains 2 Block.

'Everwinter' now channels a 'Blizzard' at the start of each turn, and costs 1 both upgraded and unupgraded.
'Everwinter' now upgrades to be Innate.
'Frozen Soul Form' now spends excess energy to channel multiple 'Blizzards' at the end of the turn.

-General-
There are a few other minor changes that were done while I was cleaning things up that I lost track of, so sorry if something wasn't listed here!

'Slime King' can no longer generate copies of healing cards.
'Original Iced Tea(a lot of ice)' has had its HP protection amount changed from 40 to 44.
'Skull, Bone, Spirit' now bonepiles 1 less and channels 4 Empty Heads!
'Hallow Hallow' now channels 6/8 Empty Heads.
The 'Spider's Hiding Place' event should no longer cause null errors.

Skul has had his atlas overhauled! There may be a brief period of time where he's dysfunctional in Spire Together while we make sure he's properly rigged up, so I apologize in advance for that - it's entirely my fault. As a payoff, he should be more resilient to changes in the future and more open to expansion now - and speaking of which:


-The Absolute-
'The Absolute' has been added! A burst damage Skul that wants to bide his time for a critical opening, his damage potential is particularly high if you set up for it but he lacks any inbuilt way to survive until the opening he's looking for. I'm a huge fan of Grapplers in games, so I couldn't help myself when Skul added one.

-Passive: When playing any 'Grapple', gain 1 'Herculean Strength' which increases the damage of 'Grapple' cards by 50%, exponentially. At 3 or more stacks of 'Herculean Strength', add additional effects to your 'Grapples'.

-Bonepile: Complete 3 'Labors. When completing 12 'Labors', add a random 'Grapple' to your hand.'Grapples' are 2-damage shiv-like attacks that Retain.

-Swap: Complete 12 'Labors' and PLAY a random 'Grapple'.

The four 'Grapple' cards that exist are 'Lion Hunt', 'Hydra Slam', 'Boar Chase', and 'Bull Fight'. Each of them has a different effect when enhanced by 'Herculean Strength'!

'Birth of a Hero' has been added, providing a 'Grapple' while also granting the block upon playing attacks effect of Ironclad's Rage!


-Berserker-
A boneafide berserker who plays recklessly and aggressively, an inch from burning it all out. If you stay aware of how you're managing your health the only thing that's a danger to you is you.

-Passive: Berserker has no Bonepile, and no Swap. When taking damage, Berserker will gain that much Strength the next time he starts or ends his turn. When he takes fatal damage less than his Strength, he'll heal to Half HP and gain 'Bone Scream'.

-Bone Scream: You cannot die. At the end of this turn, remove ALL powers and die. If you deal fatal damage, remove this. Against Bosses and Elites, die next turn instead.


-God of War-
'God of War' has been added! A utilitarian all-rounder Skull that adapts with what he's given to practice and perfect his Unrivaled Strikes! The more he's able to concentrate on his planning and practice, the more effective that simple strike will become.

-Passive: Playing 0-cost cards or skills grants 1 'Tactics'. If it was also an Attack, grant 2 instead. At 8 Tactics, put a 0-cost 'Strategy Book' skill into your hand. If you don't have an 'Unrivaled Strike' in hand it will create one, but if you do it will give you three random options on how to modify or utilize the leftmost one in your hand.They retain while 'Unrivaled Strike' does not!

-Bonepile: Gain 1 Tactics.

-Swap:Increase the damage of an 'Unrivaled Strike' in your hand by 5.

There are 8 different options available so far, with some of them changing based on if 'Laughing Arrow' has been applied or not. You're given 3 random choices in each Strategy Book, so plan accordingly! 'Laughing Arrow' is slightly more likely to show up than the others so you can reliably play around it.



He's a little screen-heavy functionally, but hopefully it ends up as an interesting gimmick rather than a hassle. If it's problematic enough there's a more vanilla version of the kit that I'll fall back on for him.






-Clown-
'Imitations' have been adjusted slightly! They now purge at the END of the card you played resolving, allowing them to interact with more cards. On the flipside, they now lock until the time they would normally purge, so that you can't play multiple imitations out of your hand by playing them quickly. As a bonus, this should make the occasional 'phantom card' stop happening. Additionally, this also causes imitations to more often behave normally when played instead of skittering around the screen.

-Davy Jones-
The logic for how 'Cannonballs' are created has been overhauled! It should be more consistent in behavior without any large changes in gameplay. It should just be easier to interact with in the future and safer from mod interactions.


-Frost Skull-
After continually trying to fix 'Hibernation' and never making progress, 'Frost Skull' is back on the menu to get a rework again. Sorry to anyone who enjoys him that he keeps visiting the patch notes! Hopefully the next time you see me I can get him to a nice spot without as many bugs as he's been running into.
'Frost Skull' has been temporarily disabled to be reworked again.

-Gambler-
'Lucky 7' is now consumed under the same conditions as Vigor, instead of only when dealing unblocked damage.


-Hunter-
'Sniper Form' has had its description corrected to match when upgraded.
'Sniper Form' will now always lock Attack Damage to 3.


-Mage-
Mage has gotten a small mini-rework to be more up-to-par with the other Skulls! It should give it the ability to scale that it lacked as well as give it a more consolidated gameplan to reach for and more available synergies to pull from to reach it. Hopefully this small set of changes gives it the breath of life it needed to compete with its competition outside of being a Burn bot.

Passive: Playing a Skill grants 2 Vigor.

Bonepile (Unchanged): Apply 1 Burn randomly.

Swap (Unchanged): Add an Awakening to your hand.

Awakening now costs 2 and deals 2 non-attack damage a number of times equal to your Vigor as a skill then removes it.

'Fire Arrow' now deals 2/3 damage and inflicts 4/6 'Burn', and instead converts the target's 'Burn' to half as much 'Vigor' for the player if they're already 'Burned'.

-Petty Thief-
Petty Thief's 'Swap' effect now consumes 2 Gold per 1 damage when blocking with gold.


-Skeleton-Bomber-
Our friendly little easter egg has gotten a mini-rework as well to get him into a more scaleable place. He's still an easter egg that usually won't hit the scale of a normal skull, but now he should be able to find his own niche in some rare cases or more actively enable some Skulls' swapping gameplans.

-Passive: Entangle yourself after playing cards. ALL Strength and Vigor become 'Gunpowder' instead. At the start of your turn, Swap and deal damage to ALL enemies. Gunpowder increases the damage of the explosion by 1 damage each, and doesn't decay.

-Bonepile: Gain 1 Gunpowder.

-Swap: None


-Warrior-
'Striking Charge' now goes from 3/3 and 5/5 to 3/3 and 4/4.

-Footnote-
He'll be seeing some small, rolling tweaks to clean up everything that got added here and get it to a steady place! Frost Skull will be receiving a rework of an unknown scale soon to hopefully finally give him a stable kit. Suggestions are welcome!

'Spider's Hiding Place' now has doubled chances for Echo Form, Wraith Form, Deva Form, and Demon Form to make them more reasonably likely against Skul's 13 Form cards.
