• Removed the addon checker.

• Reworked on how you can add custom ranks for ULX admin now is done with the data folder, please read the readme.txt.

• Remade the caching table and fixed names showing language ID instead, now pulling the name from language files.

• Manually entered 3 NPCs that are not in the NPC list when HL: Source is mounted.

• Reworked the death ragdoll that was made for unkillable NPCs and NextBots(if they have a ragdoll model).

TTT Death Note SWEP Version

• TTT2 death note player list now uses the fork code Xopez made that has much better custom role and team support (this only runs when game mode name is TTT2)

• TTT Player list innocents and detectives no longer choose detective as a target, if they get the death note by unknown means, they shouldn’t get it normally.

• Added new checks for if player is alive and in the correct team

• Corpse data is edited after death to show the death note as the killing weapon, with added console command to turn off just in case it breaks custom GUI’s, works with both base TTT/2

• Premature burial now spawns the tombstone and shovel like it does in sandbox as walk-through same as Sandbox but without the player’s name.

• Premature burial now removes the corpse after the target dies, so corpses no free fall in the infinite abyss.

• Premature burial, Ignite and Fall now show up in the damage overview at the end of the game and work with the karma system.

• Dissolve death now fully works in terror town not just sandbox.

• Remade the chance system that pretty much follows D&D dice rolling with a 1-10 random number generator.

• The start of each round enables and disables death types that are turned on or off for that round.

• Added three new server console commands.

• "DeathNote_TTT_Chance" Default: 4, setting the chance you want the death note to succeed at killing (1 - 9, 10 would be always just use other command instead)

• "DeathNote_TTT_DT_Dissolve_Enable" Enabled by default, enable and disable the dissolve death

• "DeathNote_TTT_DisableCorpseEditing" Disabled by default, enable and disable editing of corpse data in case of lua errors with custom death gui’s.

Version 0.3.1:

Death Note Changelog

• Added a new console command for clients "DeathNote_GUI_FastNPCsNames (0 or 1)" enabling it will use the NPCs class name what version 3.0 uses.

• Added a way to get the proper NPCs names though is most likely inefficient with many NPCs mods enabled, as I check the NPC list and added the model or class with the name of NPC model and class into 4 tables which end up by the alive NPCs for their model first to get the name then the class entity if no model.

• Reenabled the printing to chat with fancy names only as NPCs tend to have long print names.

• Using the entity class with now also have the first letter capitalized.

Death Note Changelog

• Added better support for NPCs / Next Bots, though if they were made killable in a certain way or unkillable then they might not die.

• Note: I can't test every entity NPCs on the workshop and some weird things will happen with the deaths.

• Reworked the code by getting the swep's to call the same function the death note uses when it's sent to the server as well as combining the entity and sandbox weapon code together.

• Reworked how the opening and drawing of the VGUI as well us fixing some issues on the client-side bit of the code.

• Removed some old files that where no longer needed (Skull, Heart and Info) they were used before the change of how the GUI was drawn years ago.

• With the rework of deaths to allow NPCs / Next Bots I have made a check for the realistic fall damage and change health accordingly, only loops with Terror Town as you can respawn before the alive check causing looped deaths to occur.

• Made a new way to lockout death types as the addition of NPCs / Next Bots made me realize that death types can be stolen from targets

• Added a Setting options in Q Menu for easy changing of console commands in single player and local game multiplayer, will still need some kind of RCON access for dedicated servers

• Added a multiple new command for sandbox

• "DeathNote_GUI_ShowNPCs" -Client- Enabled by default, List NPCs / Next Bots in the death note player list

• "DeathNote_RemoveUnkillableEntity" -Server- Enabled by default, Remove NPCs / Next Bots that survived the death type make a fake ragdoll as well.

• "DeathNote_ExplodeCountDownFrom" -Server- 5 by default, when should the countdown start to count shared with TTT as well.

• "DeathNote_Heart_Attack_Fallback" -Server- Enabled by default, go to heart attack (it's a death with no timers) in case the death was in use also shared with TTT as well.

• Added 2 new death types only for sandbox as they edit dead bodies as TTT creates its own dead body

• "headexplode" The targets head rapidly expands blowing up cause the dead ragdoll to have no head.

• "dissolve" Cause people to die with the same energy as the energy ball cause the body to dissolve out.


TTT Death Note SWEP Version

• DID NOT GET ANY NPC SUPPORT FEATURE AT ALL.

• Changed the TTT SWEP to only load's terrortown game mode.

• With the addition of the killable NPCs for sandbox the TTT version of deaths where reworked.

• Removed The TTT Version of the VGUI making the check happen with the sandbox one grabbing the right way to list the players before it's listed.

• Fixed Showing only detective in TTT2 while still being able to be used original TTT, TTT2 custom roles are not supported the best and the DN will hide known traitors in the list for a better fix use the one uploaded by Xopez which is also suggested in the TTT2 addon checker. TTT2 version Workshop ID "3118796974"

• Fixed the disabled function of the TTT Explode command, will now go to heart attack in explode has been disabled

• Fixed an exploit I realized as the Death Note didn't get striped in till the player death started but after the check for the TTT weapon allowing for the same death note to be used multiple times if person dropped the Death Note, [Note: this only worked if they allow the weapon to be drop/be dropped on death.]

• Added a multiple new command for TTT with the shared commands above in the sandbox addition.

• "DeathNote_TTT_BypassChance" -Server- Enabled by default, With the death locked up and the heart attack fallback disabled, and chance enabled, this setting allows the player to bypass the chance system and try again, if disabled they need to win the chance system again.

• "DeathNote_TTT_ShowKiller" -Server- Enabled by default, when enabled it will tell the victim who used the Death Note on them.

• "DeathNote_TTT_MessageAboutDeath" -Server- Enabled by default, when enabled it will tell the whole server the victim has died, NOTE: Explode will still tell everyone they are going to explode when disabled.

• Reworked The Deathnote Code to allow modules that will allow people to have a easier time to add their own death's.

• No Longer while you need to extract the GMA to create a custom death type can be put in "lua\modules\deathnote".

• No Longer do you have to open the gui to choose a deathtype.

• Removed some outdated code

• Changed the Prematural Death Code (Gets Errors In TTT so been disabled in TTT) to add a grave

• Added "DeathNote_Copy_Module" So you can get the base of the code yo write your own deathtype (For some reason i could not get it to copy the code to the clipboard on singleplayer)

With this version i did not really test the ttt side that much.
if you come across any errors for TTT i will try and fix them as fast as possible

Console Commands - only changed by rcon host for servers
• DeathNote_ulx_installed - Ulx Installed (1 for yes - 0 for no)
• DeathNote_Debug - Debug on (1 for yes - 0 for no)

• DeathNote_DeathTime - How long intill they die (NonTTT)
• DeathNote_ExplodeTimer - How long intill they explode (NonTTT - adds on with deathtime)
• DeathNote_ExplodeCountDown - Does the explode time countdown under 5 secs? (set to 1 for yes set to 0 for no)

• DeathNote_TTT_DeathTime - How long intill they die (for ttt)
• DeathNote_TTT_AlwaysDies - 100% death (set to 0 for chance, set to 1 for always kill)
• DeathNote_TTT_Explode_Enable - Is the explode enabled on TTT? (set to 0 for no explode death, set to 1 for explode death)
• DeathNote_TTT_Explode_Time - How long for the explode time before they explode(adds on with deathtime)
• DeathNote_TTT_LoseDNOnFail - Do you lose DN of fail (set to 0 for keep, set to 1 for lose)
• DeathNote_TTT_DNLockOut - Lock out Time
