Various fixes:

Trait translation strings support + fixes

  • Trait names and descriptions are now created with getText() functions to allow translation
  • Only english language is provided by default, but anyone should be able to create a translation now.
  • Fixed the issue where skill bonuses in trait descriptions could appear several times.

Multiplayer improvements and fixes

  • Server is now fully aware of the changes made to traits and professions. Removing annoying “unknown trait” logs from server.
  • Fixed error that caused respawned characters sometimes missing profession traits in multiplayer.
  • Pick-locked doors can now be opened by any player (not only the burglar).

Mechanics debugging

  • Mechanics can now upgrade brakes. Beware, there is a bug with “Old Brakes Type Standard” that are recognized as “Type Sports” for our game… This is inherently in the base game and we cannot do much about it until The Indie Stones fixes it. Other brakes can be combined with no problems.
  • Added missing sport’s car tire recipes
  • Fixed car mechanics recipes that would allow crafting if only one part was available, and then destroy the said part without yielding any item.

Unemployed upgrade
  • The unemployed can now slightly reduce unhappiness when slacking off. This occupation felt a bit lacking as it would trade time for boredom reduction, something that could be performed much more slowly by other occupations by sitting outside. The unhappiness reduction is slim, but it adds up if you tend to slack more than working. ;)

Hotfix

  • Fix the error that was triggered when performing a fitness exercise in the upper floors of a building near exterior walls.

Fitness Instructor now truly an Instructor

  • Performing squats, pushups, situps and burpees near a Fitness Instructor in MP increases regularity three times faster (doesn't stack with other fitness instructor bonus)
  • You need to remain within 3 squares near a Fitness Instructor to benefit from the regularity bonus

Intercompatibility with existing book mods
  • Added Kap’s Kombat Techniques and Little Yoschi's skillbooks intercompatibility
  • We still highly recommend that you use skill books from this mod to benefit from the adjusted loot distribution and additional spawn places, thus preventing having too many books in containers as it is often the case with most book mods.

Security Guard Overhaul

  • Security guard now benefit from the “Shake it off” signature trait
  • They can now shake the fatigue away with a contextual action from right click menu
  • This ability is only available during the last 40% of the fatigue gauge, meaning they will always remain at least drowsy.
  • Adjusted Security guard cost to +1 point to spend
  • Existing Security Guards will benefit from the new signature retroactively

Balance
  • Weak is now a -4 Strength trait to be aligned with its counterpart Strong (instead of -5 Strength)
  • Sleepyhead increased bonus points at -4 points (instead of -3 points)
  • Lucky/Unlucky changed to +5/-5 traits (instead of +6/-6 points)
  • Engineer is now a +2 point occupation after playtests of bombs (instead of 0)
  • Lumberjack is now a -1 point occupation, axeman has no impact on fighting (instead of -3)

Dynamic intercompatibility with gun mods

  • Firearms Technician can now salvage parts and repair to full condition all modded pistol/shotgun typed items (tested with Brita's Weapon Pack)
  • Firearms are discriminated based on the ammo types (Handguns uses 9mm, .44, .45, .38 or .380 and shotguns uses shells)
  • Gun need to be primary equipped to be either salvaged or repaired and the actions are triggered from the screwdriver/firearm parts or the crafting menu.
  • “Dismantled” state is not necessary anymore so now you no longer risk your attachments or magazines in the repair process.

Complete and dynamic intercompatibility with major Book Mods (list here)[i.imgur.com]

  • Other Book Mods will now supersede our own code for books dynamically.
  • If the other Book mods don't provide all books, the rest will be handled by our mod.

Major book spawn tables overhaul
  • Modded books will spawn in new areas corresponding with the associated skill such as police stations, kitchens, tool shops and more!
  • Modded books will not spawn in typical book spawns like bookstores but can still be acquired in houses and at the post-office.
  • Loot tables have been modified to mitigate the amount of books spawning.
  • Each book has a different color now.

Fixes
  • Burglar cost is now the right one (-4)
