Changes in v4.0.7:
- Fixed an issue where modded powers missing an icon would crash the game for allies when applied
- Fixed an issue where powers using an image instead of a region map would not have an icon
- Fixed an issue where game settings would sometimes not save correctly and, in certain scenarios, cause a crash

- Fixed an issue where getting random Unknown Upgraded cards on characters that are not The Snecko would crash the game

Changes in v4.0.6:
- Fixed an issue where monsters spawning mid combat would crash the game in Singleplayer
- Fixed an issue where certain events would crash the game
- Fixed an issue where the game could crash when gaining block
- Fixed an issue where the "ALL READY" option could crash in Port Forwarding mode
- Mod compatibility:
- Downfall
- Removed custom sync of Downfall boss cards
- This has been done to remove any issues that came up with syncing
- Boss Cards are very complicated and can cause issues, so their syncing will be added at a future date
- Fixed an issue where the Neow miniboss would revive enemies twice for players that entered the room after it was generated
- Fixed an issue where dying in a downfall map would mess up the map visuals

Changes from v3.1.10 -> v4.0.1
- Completely rewrote the Saving and Loading portions of the code
- This change has been done with mod compatibility in mind
- Together in Spire now effectively saves data equal to what would be saved in singleplayer, and loads it in the same way
- The only exception to this rule would be any modifications to the raw save data, which would require custom patches
- Performance & optimizations:
- Massively improved overall game performance
- Improved performance when rendering nameplates
- Fixed memory leak issues when playing with custom characters
- Networking & synchronization:
- Extended syncing code for monsters and powers with two goals in mind
- Expanding compatibility to support the majority of mods on the workshop
- The code has been generified to its maximum, any further desyncs will have to be followed by custom patches
- Preventing crashes in case of failed sync, instead just skipping it
- Extended syncing code for cards and relics with one goal in mind:
- Allowing modded items to keep any extra data they contain from their mods when traded
- Extended syncing code for rooms with one goal in mind:
- Allowing more flexibility for mods to use rooms in different ways and still have them be syncable
- Custom settings:
- Added a new 'Disable Trading Blacklist' setting to the MULTIPLAYER tab:
- When toggled, this setting allows players to trade any blacklisted relics or cards in the game without restriction
- When trading certain relics there can be some visual glitches, however this is not going to be patched
- Added new "Starting Relics", "Starting Blights", and "Starting Potions" settings to the GAMEPLAY tab:
- Opens new screens with all available options in the game
- Achievements:
- Added a new "Sea of Ghosts" secret achievement
- Unlocking this achievement unlocks ghost skins for all characters
- QOL:
- You can now hover over player powers in the nameplate to see their tooltips
- You can now hover over relics and potions in the trading screen to see their tooltips
- Relic and Potion select screens have a search bar to filter out relics, and arrows to scroll through multiple pages
- Player infoboxes will now render the player's energy if you're sharing a combat room with the player
- Player infoboxes will now display gold instead of block if at you and the player were at a shop room
- Player nameboxes will now be transparent if the player is not in the same room instead of being darkened to reduce confusion
- The shop trading button will no longer show if the shop room is in combat state
- Strike effects will now appear on monster death and in other cases they would previously not appear
- Rooms will now also sync monster and event lists to prevent duplicate combats as much as possible
- Rooms where monsters escape will now escape for players that enter after instead of dying
- Misc:
- Changed the Delete Button texture on the default screen design to be black instead of red in the center.
- Control characters will no longer cause whitespace characters in inputfields
- Cards generated through multiplayer will now be centered in the middle of the screen in effects instead of the bottom left corner
- Infinte runs will now track the player's "run count" and sync it, making players that want to catch up go through the entire run
- Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where failing to connect with PORT FORWARDING would crash the game when pressing multiplayer again
- Fixed an issue where achievements were not unlockable if playing with anything other than basemod, stslib and Together in Spire
- Fixed an issue where monsters replaced by other monsters would still play their visual effects
- Fixed an issue where the 'Teamwork' achievement wasn't unlockable correctly
- Fixed an issue where you could target players not present in the room with nameplates

- Objenesis has been completely removed from the project as it was unused in previous versions and it's usage proved to be incompatible with the desired effect of the project

- Massively expanded the options for mod creators to patch their mods with custom settings/other misc items
- Started working on custom mod patches:
- These will be far in between and will be only for the most essential things until the base mod is done

- Downfall now has a custom checkmark to have the game in downfall mode
- Downfall boss combats will now sync with minor issues
- Downfall boss encounters will now be the same for all players

- Ally damage on targets will now always produce a strike effect, regardless of current amount of connected players
