Changes in v5.2.4 -> v6.0.3:
- Picking up a key will now remove the possibility for others to pick up the same key again
- Picking up the ruby key will remove the Recall option from other allies at a campfire immediately
- Picking up the emerald/sapphire key will remove the key as the reward from all other ally screens
- Player killing a player will now print a message in chat:
- A player killing you will say "{Player} killed you"
- You killing a player will say "You killed {Player}"
- A player killing a player will say "{Player} killed {Player}"
- Added a new game setting:
- Turn Time Limit:
- Specifies the amount of time a player has to take their turn
- Minimum value is DISABLED and maximum is 300 seconds
- Default value for RECOMMENDED is DISABLED and for HELL mode is 30 seconds
- Added a new customizable type:
- Player Cursors:
- You can now customize how your cursor looks for you and your allies
- The selected cursor is applied game-wide, not just in multiplayer menus
- Cursor Types:
- base - FREE, default design
- shiny - FREE
- Silent's Dagger - PATREON
- crown - ACHIEVEMENT
- The customization screen has been reworked into multiple screens:
- Player customization screen
- You can now see all skins and set your default skins for each character separately
- Nameplate customization screen
- Allows the preview of both Alive and Dead designs
- UI customization screen
- Mouse customization screen
- Allows the preview of both own and ally designs
- This update will clear the saved preset for the favourite skin/character/colour/nameplate/ui
- From this version on, you will no longer be able to connect to multiplayer if your Together in Spire version is out of date
- Previously, you'd be able to proceed with a warning
- Misc:
- Slightly changed the text design of the Trade shop button
- Fixed an issue where the game would disconnect without retrying to refetch room data on timeout
- Fixed an issue where disconnecting from a lobby and starting a new lobby would play the leaving animation from old players in the previous lobby
- Fixed an issue where players with a space in their username would not have their username coloured correctly in chat
- Fixed an issue where trying to connect with a older game version to a lobby would fail through Port Forwarding
- Dev:
- Added a general 'OnReceivedNetworkPacket' callback to the appropriate locations
- This callback is meant to provide an alternative to patching into the P2PMessageAnalyzer as a cleaner solution
- Added a 'OnPlayerKilledPlayer' callback
- Added a new "OpenScreen" command to debug screens
- Removed the TextButton element, correct usage is now a Clickable element with a BoxedLabel
- PlayerPresetSave and UIPresetSave are now singleton classes
- Removed the OnThisTrade callback from the CustomMultiplayerRelic
- Added methods sendNetworkMessage and sendNetworkMessageToPlayer to CustomMultiplayerPower and CustomMultiplayerRelic
- Functionally, they are the same as P2PManager.SendData, just easier access

Changes in v5.2.4:
- Multiplayer save files now store extra data for consistency, but will be saved asynchronously
- In total, players should notice less to no stutter on game save
- Reworked how cleared rooms are tracked
- This should have no effect on regular gameplay where all players go together, but aims more to improve the experience of people who join after a few rooms have been cleared already
- Fixed an issue where killing the first phase of the Awakened One with poison would softlock the game
- Fixed an issue where toggling The Guardian with poison would lead to an incorrect next turn intent

- Added a queue system to Steam Networking
- The new system should prevent packet loss when dealing with huge amounts of data
- The new system could be quite buggy so more fixes might come out in the future if needed
- Changed the duration of ally chat bubbles from 2.5s to 4s
- Fixed an issue where monster HP values would desync massively in certain scenarios
- Fixed an issue where a revived player would not get removed from the ressurect screen list until refreshed
- Fixed an issue where connecting at the same time Draw power was applied would crash the game

Changes in v5.2.1:
- Having more than 11 players in a lobby will now display the total count BELOW the list of players instead of replacing it
- Added arrows below the player count in the lobby when there's more than 11 players to be able to see all players
- Fixed an issue where the 5th player connecting would show as duplicate in the lobby screen
- Reworked the player select screens (trading and resurrecting)
- The super small mode has been replaced with the medium size for player counts above 11
- Added arrows to the screen to scroll through the player list
- Added a player name filter to more easily find players

Changes in v5.2:
- Completely reworked enemy intent sync with the goal of making it desync less often
- This change is very technical and includes some back-end changes but ideally it should significantly reduce the amount of intent-related issues
- Timing out on room data will now retry the request instead of generating a room, and failing a second timeout will disconnect you
- This should prevent the issue where rooms would refresh on ocassion with a large amount of players playing
- Fixed an issue where turn counts were not syncing for players who joined the room after the room was loaded
- Fixed issues where damaging monsters at certain times would not sync the data, leading to a temporary desync in hp values
- Fixed an issue where The Guardian going into defensive mode due to debuffs (example - Poison) would not sync
- Fixed an issue where the game would crash when marking yourself with the chat marker in the lobby
