Patch 3.5.2

  • Research Dark Matter Event has had its base MTTH of 75 reduced to 50

  • Research Dark Matter Event's option to get it using minor artifacts will only show up if you already have arcane deciphering.

  • Artifact decision to get Dark Matter Power has its cost of 5 minor artifacts increased to 10. Success chance remains at 30%

  • Dark Matter Research Event Chain now gives the full tech upon completion.

  • Goliath Dark Energy and Original Reactors can be used now in Colossus, Juggernaut, Star Eater, and all star bases.

  • Ion Canons may now also use Dark Energy and Original Reactors.

  • Removed empty drives and thrusters for FE ships.

  • Conditions for discovering Lost Technologies through artifacts have changed. Now it can only trigger at End Game, but with its MTTH reduced from 100 to 50. Ongoing Crisis will also cut MTTH by half, so they should be usable against the latter stages of the crisis.

  • The same event that gives you free Dark Matter Thrusters will now also give you the option to research Dark Matter Shields, if you don't already have it.

  • Temporarily disabled all AI cheat events that let them get Dark Matter Power for free. They must instead get it the same way a player does.

  • Condition for AI to ascend now requires 150k fleet power, up from 100k

  • Tweaked how Dark Matter Breakthrough by AI are informed to the player. You will now get a notification that they started on one of the quests, and also one when they complete it.

  • Made steps to encourage AI Ascended Empires to use proper reactors for their FE ships.

  • Previously, whenever the country type is changed, all your resources will be hard-coded to reset to 0, and there is a built-in script to give you a set amount back. I Added about 35k lines of codes so that you will get an amount similar to what you had before you made the switch in the majority of cases.

  • Up to 200k of Energy, Minerals, Food, Consumer Goods, Alloy, and Unity will be 'kept' when you change country type, then rounded to the nearest 1000. (Any more than 200k, your resource will remain at 200k)

  • Up to 20k of Volatile Motes, Rare Crystals, Exotic Gases, Dark Matter, Zro, Living Metal, and Nanites will be 'kept' when you change country type, then rounded to the nearest 100. (Any more than 20k, your resource will remain at 20k)

  • Up to 200 Minor Artifacts will be 'kept' when you change country type. (Any more than 200, your resource will remain at 200)

  • Auxiliary Subjects can now be integrated.

  • Added Star Empire version of Galactic Ascendancy.

  • Fixed incorrect strings in Rebirth of an Ascendancy
