Part of my future Euro theme: You will be able to grow a city from small 2 story buildings to big 6 story buildings, all within the high residential zone.

I love to model buildings, and it is purely a hobby for me. However, if you really like my buildings/mods and you are feeling generous you can donate me a few dimes using the paypal link below :)

I understand your point and I agree. But do you intend, at least in the meantime, to make some L2 and L3 Commercial buildings ? I mean, some buildings of 2 or 3 stories to complete the existing « collection » of brooklyn’s architecture ? Even if it’s not in a theme, it would make some diversity for the game. In my opinion, there is actualy a big lack in the game for some north American commercial buildings of 3-4 stories. But still, I just want to know your intention. I don’t want to rush you. Thank you for your excellent work !

Even if I do that, following the structure the Brooklyn theme is designed for, we will end up with 5 story L5 low residential and 5-6 story L5 low commercial buildings, which is way off in my opinion.

I really like how my new central Europe theme works and I will probably recreate Brooklyn in a similar matter, e.g. move the theme to high residential and duplicate buildings on 2-3 Levels to create more variety. Maybe I release the already created buildings without adding them "officially" to the theme (so people have to do it), I will think about this.

The thing with Brooklyn theme is,.. Basically the entire theme structure is flawed. It was a mistake to make the theme low residential/ low commercial in the first place, I see that now, but it is kind of too late to change anything.

I have already recreated a few L2 shops from existing buildings, and modeled a few industrial L2s and residential L5s,... a couple of month ago actually:

The main flaw/problem of Brooklyn for me is the strict structure (I use solely 2x4 and 1x4 buildings). If I release just one L5 2x4 row building for example, L4 buildings in all cities using my Brooklyn theme will now upgrade to this building, which results in me, destroying the variety in thousands of cities. I have to model 4-5 different L5 row buildings and release them at the same time to prevent that.

Man, I apreciate so much your work. But it's been almost a year since I wait for level 2 and 3 in your Brooklyn commercial theme. I don't want to rush your at all, but do you know if your are going to finish this serie one day ? From one of your biggest fan :steamhappy:
