Reworked Planets - Dry Ice Edition

描述
This is an alternate version of my Reworked Planets Mod. So go there for a full description.

Some people feel that the Arctic planet type should be the driest with Tundra medium-humidity and Alpine the wettest. I personally disagree, but whatever.

Enough people have requested it that I made this version. If you're one of those people, enjoy!

For reference, this is what the temperature/humidity graph would look like, so you can see what I'm talking about:

Um... you basically copied the normal version as this mod.

It's good to see you back, however briefly. I hope you're okay, Tommy.

Hi, everyone, I've had no internet for the last few months. (Still don't, I'm uploading this at a friend's.)
Anyway the mod is now updated for 1.8.* Čapek / Synthetic Dawn. Happy Assimilating.

Since it's been such a long time since I last worked on this it's possible I could have made some stupid mistakes. So if you find any bugs let me know.

Are you waiting on 1.8?

You're very welcome, and thank you! I'm glad you like it. :D

Cheers, Tommy! This is THE habitability mod for me, hands down. :D

Ah ok. LOL. I read your comment about why you created this mod and now it makes sense. Honestly the debate comes from confusion over the concept of "arctic" which simply means cold. For those of you who disagree with the author of this mod (I am an Earth Science teacher)... realize that technically there are only TWO arctic/polar climates using the Koppen climate system: ET (tundra) and EF (ice cap). Ice cap occurs where it snows and in Tundra regions, it is too dry to snow. So... therefore "Arctic" defaults to the snowy climate (which is what we think of anyway). Boreal forests are "alpine" and occur in any region where there is enough humidity and warmth for trees to occur. Some Boreal forests occur in EF but many occur in highland and D climates. Practically speaking, some of the D climates could also be considered "arctic" and would likely occur near close to the equator on Arctic worlds.

FYI Arctic equates to Boreal forests. Relative humidity is what matters when it comes to precipitation and tundra is by far the most dry polar climate. Your other version is more accurate
