NPC Killer

Description
Use this with extreme caution! This useable tool makes a NPC nearby you commit suicide. It only ever kills off one NPC at a click,
for security reasons. Usually NPC's in areas like the outpost will respawn after killed. Also there are certain NPC's you can't
kill (for whose this tool wasn't intended to anyways).

You can build it at the Anvil, in the last tab for 2000 Pixels. (again that expensive for security reasons)
Otherwise you can use Tabula Rasa or spawn it with "npckiller".

Might not work with mods that still use old npc files, currently the only confirmed one is "Active Stealth Module v1.62"

For anyone using this in mid-2025, if it doesn't work try typing "/admin" in chat (if you're in singleplayer at least). It didn't work for me until I gave myself admin, then it worked fine.

well for anyone who finds NPCs like this where this mod doesnt help
/entityeval self.behavior = "thisisastring"
/entityeval npc.setPersistent(false)
someone gave me these two lines of code, just the first one did it for me

Yeah, there are some NPCs where it doesn't work, mainly all story-relevant NPCs. It works on all "random" NPCs that have a built in suicide function, as they are meant to be removable if needed.

Ive tested the mod against another random NPC on a planet, holding right click did in fact delete them, this NPC seems to be immune.

Had an NPC not go away after we removed a deed. Installed this mod, made the broom and stood right on top of them and held left click. The NPC is still there
