I would love line-of-sight, but unfortunately it's either impossible or outside my scope. The stuff I do is very simple

I don't know if you still work on mods but is it possible to make one so that the player can only see things directly in their line of sight? For example, the insides of buildings will appear like pure darkness until you get inside them?

That's a vanilla bug I can do nothing about (as far as I know). It's just more obvious with my lighting mod(s).
