Sophon Portraits

Description
This is a portrait mod pack that adds fully animated blue haired and eyed humanoids made through heavy modification of existing assets as to fit into the game's artwork. You can choose these portraits under the new "Void" species class that will appear when making a new empire.

Randomised Civilisations will NOT use these portraits. If you want to play against these portraits, you will need to put them into a pre-made civ.

This mod MIGHT be compatible with ALL other mods with the exception of my other portrait mod: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=795075996

To get around this, instead of using any one of the portrait mods, use this mod pack I threw together which will allow you to use both portrait sets at the same time: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=899685827

Please post a comment if you find ANY bugs whatsoever, I update these mods rather hastily.

Writer's note: The description of the two mods are pretty much copy paste due to me being lazy. Not because of some other malicious reason. I also encourage you to read the description of the mod pack for certain reasons.

@dukkokun. See my below comments. You are free to use my mod and the files included in any way you wish.

Hi Illusioneer, would you be ok if I included this mod in my patch that condenses all portraits mods in vanilla's species_classes? Your mod would be a requirement for my patch and users would have to subscribe to your mod. I will not take any credit and/or include any of your art in my mod (only changing species_class to fit the portraits under humanoids). I plan to also include the other two reskins (vampires and Atlanteans) https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2800218111

Oh, i realise now that I used your assets in a build version but removed them later. I am sorry to have bothered you on this. I might still use some of your work in a future release. Truth be told I am dead certain 90+% of all animated portraits are in some way or another vanilla reskins, even if the meshes are renamed and animation files duplicated.

Also, this specific mod is the a very old and not a particularly good reskin in my own opinion. It needs to be redone, Which I will do when I have the time. But in the mean time I suggest you take a look at my two more recent reskins for your pack.

This applies to all my other stellaris mods as well.

That's odd. I had no part in your work being banned.

You have my complete permission to use the contents of my mod however you wish. Truth be told, I don't see the assets from this mod as "my work" since they're just reskins and edited code from Paradox's assets.

Wonderful work - I have included parts of your mod in mine but then got banned for not asking for permissions. Do you have any objections to your work being included in mine? I have already added you to the credits list.

I'm also starting work on an Eldar Portrait pack that I'll be painting myself from scratch tomorrow, for those interested. It will also be animated.

That would be fine. Just make sure to credit and link the original mod.
