St. Petersburg 2:1

Description
This is my half-sized edition of the St. Petersburg area, based on height maps from terrain.party but also fine-tuned in photoshop and hand-finished afterwards. I used an accurate overlay to determine highways, intersections, and railways with a high degree of accuracy.

I've taken great care to be as faithful to the real area as possible, including the outer ring highway and nearly a dozen of the major intersections that feed traffic into the city. Many of the outer tiles, particularly the south, east, and north, have access to this outer ring, allowing you to balance your incoming and outgoing traffic. The most noticeable highway enters from the south and travels north, then west, to access the industrial area directly. Even the railway tracks (at least, about 90%) are all faithfully placed, including termini at the four main passenger stations (Finlandskiy, Moscovskiy, Vitebsky, and Baltiskiy Vokzal). Furthermore, all these stations are connected by internal lines, with additional tracks signalling where minor stations are located. Large freight-yards have been included, particularly along the southward line towards Moscow.

Sadly, due to spatial constrictions, I couldn't have ships access the river Neva, nor the internal port areas of the industrial area.

I've placed all four resources somewhere on the map, but generally in the outer tiles. I've placed Oil in the industrial port area to the West, while Ore can be found up in the forest area of the North-west (which pertains to a forested area in real life). Fertile land areas are scattered around the edges, but since I'm aiming for realism over function, and since there are few (if any) farms in this area in real life, I haven't focused on it a lot.

Lastly, in case anyone wonders, I'd love to keep making 2:1 replicas of real city areas. I used to make 1:1 replicas, but I didn't like that much as it's not enough space and it looked weird to have cities suddenly end at suspiciously square edges. Of course, 2:1 doesn't solve that perfectly either, but I find it the most enjoyable to play on. Some of the other cities I'd like to do are Munich (DE), Tauranga (NZ - my home town), and some Italian cities. I'd especially like to do some cities that haven't been well represented so far on the Workshop.

Anyway, hopefully some of you enjoy this map. Do leave constructive criticism - I'll keep improving maps as I play them and hear back from you!

Coming back to the game after a long hiatus, will be updating the map, finetuning the roads with MoveIt mods, will create a Snowfall version, and a Save Game file with main road layouts and canal walls all pre-built (to spare the would-be builder a ton of prep work!).

@KIDR9280 I've downloaded the height maps and started the ground work, but at the moment I'm still having a blast trying to recreate St. Petersburg in this map here. I want to post some screenies of my finished city, but it's taking quite a while! But yes, Tauranga will be next, then maybe I'll do a 2:1 of NYC after, @TheJovialSocialist :)

Sure, can you add it to the collection, or should I do something? Thanks!
