Description
Now updated with better textures and more realistic stats!

The equestrian centre consists of large horse barns, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and a few horses, of course. All buildings, walls and fences are built-in, but the horses are not = please subscribe to the horse props as well.
No mods required.

Size: 16x7
type: park /special parks tab
Contruction cost: 50 000
Maintenance: 250
Entertainment accumulation: 50
Entertainment radius: 1000

3D model: 1330 tris, textures d,n, s 1024x512, all created by me.

If you built this before the update, you may experience a sudden drop in entertainment (leisure) values. This asset was over-powerful earlier, and now it is more realistic. I'm sorry for any inconvienience... As a good side, you get much better looks (improved textures and 3D model).

I just re-subscribed and the asset works now. Thank you for fixing it.

SkiRich, are you sure you have subcribed the horse props? The grey horses were missing for a couple of days (fixed it tonight), but the bay and chestnut horses should have been there all the time.

Missing prop assets. Loading screen mod reports these assets as missing, therefore the asset does not look anything like this.

I changed my mind and updated the stats, at the same time as updating the model and textures. Now the leisure/entertainment/happiness effect is still high, but more realistic.

@ Mr.Lard: As you said, I cannot change the stats of this asset, because it would cause weird surprises to all the nearly 3000 subscribers. Maybe one day I'll make a whole new 3D model of horse stables. I'm not 100% happy with this one now, because it was a project when I was learning how to do 3D modeling - I am totally amateur and knew nothing of 3D models when I started my zoo and horse stables projects a few months ago. Now I'm hopefully a bit better :) And thanks for your feedback!

I haven't made any assets so I don't know how, but since it's built in I guess it can't be too hard. Maybe I'll try. Thanks for permission!
Yea, it should increase leisure and it's a cool idea to let it affect normal residentials some distance away from a rural setting. It's just that the range is so very long - 10000 is 25 times the 400 you said was for a normal park. It can pretty much cover a whole big 9 tile city and almost replace all other leisure improvements. I guess the entertainment accumulation number also plays a part, but I don't know what's typical there.
If you have a city without the stable placed already, you can make a separate save file of it and view the enormous effect it has. Or just turn it off and then back on for a couple of seconds and watch unhappy faces all over.
If you should decide to change it by the way, maybe a new version is better or subscribers will be in for a big surprise.
Any way, thanks for a nice looking asset. Take care!

@ Mr.Lard: I did an experiment in a very tiny town that had only a couple of little parks. After I built the Equestrian Centre, it did turn "Leisure buildings accessibility" from red to blue in the whole town. I guess that is what is supposed to happen - building a park gives people entertainment / access to leisure activities. The effect on land value was much smaller, however. Some buildings did level up, but I still had low-level buildings.
If you want to use it but provide less (or more) entertainment to your cims, you can make your own customized version with the asset editor.

@niis-ku: That's exactly what I did, thought it would look cool next to an farming village a small distance from the main city. :-) Can't use it now though. Just wanted to provide feedback and a warning.

A WARNING: I don't know how much radius 10000 is, but it must be a lot. When I placed this building close to a corner of my 9x9 140k city, the leisure value turned blue (max?) over the whole city. When I noticed this, I turned the building off and the levels returned to normal. So lots of bang for the buck... No, seriously, this can't be intended

Before I turned it off high land values from max leisure (from what I would call a bug as described in the earlier comment) had quickly resulted in a lot of building level upgrades. And as I turned it off, land values fell resulting in wide spread building abandonement. I'm gonna have to go back to a previous save and hope I hadn't built too much.

@ Mr.Lard: I never noticed such a dramatic effect myself. The 10 000 radius is much bigger than usual, most "vanilla" parks have 400 radius. My idea was that you'll build this in an agricultural district, and the entertainment should reach the horse fans living in residential areas.
