Introduction to Chapter 5
Welcome to this chapter of the Handbook to every survivalists! In here, you'll learn tactics against bosses, their attacks, what to avoid doing and which bosses are stronger than others.Second chapter done in coop with CoffeeChipmunk.

Enjoy!
Colossus
Colossus
Giant Stone Guardian

Health: 1400HP
Damage: 40 points
Speed: 13 mph

This giant of a monster, size of a mountain, is probably the first boss you'll encounter. I guess he sacrificed size for smarts, as his attacks are limited. Although this creature seems itimidating, he can easily be taken down. Killing him has a chance of dropping Colossal Knurl, an item which gives you more armor, health, and health regen.
Wandering Vagrant
Wandering Vagrant
Gentle Protector

Health: 1400HP
Damage: 12 points
Speed: 34MPH

This giant jellyfish may seem difficult, but he is just a softy. His only attack is firing orbs at you, but those can easily be dodged. A very squishy boss, defeating him has a chance of giving you a use item, which mimics his only attack.
Magma Worm
Magma Worm
Ancient Lava Swimmer

Health: 1400HP
Damage: 55 points
Speed: 168MPH

This fiery worm has the power, the speed, and the health. Luckily, his aim is awful. You can easily defeat him by staying out of range of his entry and exit point, and using abilities that hit multiple times, like Laser Glaive, or Eviscerate. Killing this fiery beast has a chance of dropping Burning Witness, which lets you set fire to the ground after defeating a foe.

Rumor is, there is an electric worm, with more health, better accuracy, and, well, electric. If you encounter this creature...
God help you.
Ancient Wisp
Ancient Wisp
Banished and Chained

HP: 1470HP
Damage: 23 points
Speed: 12MPH

(Recovered from a journal found next to a charred body)

I can feel the heat from it's fiery body, it is close. I won't make it, but I hope this will help whoever finds this journal. It already killed the other 3, striking them down with a pillar of lightning. I noticed a pattern, though. A small fire appears on the ground before the strike, a beacon, of some sorts. Stay away from those, and you'll be good to go. Rumor has it, when it dies, is spawns two Wisps, and two Greater Wisps as well, but no one has lived to confirm that.
Oh god, it sees me. Whoever finds this, avenge me. Goodbye.

Imp Overlord
Imp Overlord
Lord of the Red Plane

Health:1210
Damage:25
Top Speed:17

This guy.His HP is really, really low,but his attacks will surprise you.Like a true imp,he can teleport, and will start punching the ground after doing so.He can also punch left or right multiple times, dashing that way at the same time.He also can produce explosions coming from the ground after doing a laser with his eyes on those places.
Dangerous gal.Luckily,he should go down faster than the rest, thanks too his low HP
Ifrit
Ifrit
Scion of the Infernal King

Health: 1500HP
Damage: 17 points
Speed: 28 mph

This fiery sumofabitch is my favorite boss. He's a flaming bull, who can trap you with pillars, and either trap you with a swarm of enemies, or worse, him. Beating this monstrosity of a creature has a chance of giving you Ifrit's Horn, an amazing item for melee characters.
Toxic Beast
The Toxic Beast
Mother of Many

Health:1460
Damage:17
Top Speed:21 mph

This one is easier if you can attack her at range. Her attacks consist of running over you and spawning babies. The babies themselves are very, very weak and not a danger at all, while the Mother's stomps are pretty dangerous. If you're a melee class, use hit an run tactics or make sure you can take the hits!If you're ranged, just laugh at her a little bit.
Cremator
Cremator
Shielded Artillery

Health:1150
Damage:12
Top Speed:28 mph

Really a dangerous one.His HP might be low for a boss, and his damage might be even lower,he's dangerous.Wanna know why?He appear in lava only, and can attack you everywhere on the map with explosive balls, that individually does that damage. To defeat him, you'll most likely will need to go in his territory, lava. He'll swim there until you defeat him.The DPS you get from lava can quickly pile up if you're careless,so watch out!Melee classes will also have a hard time chassing it since it moves so fast.Dangerous one, keep an eye out for him.
Scavenger
Scavenger
Taste of your own medecine

Health:1305
Damage:14
Top Speed:14

This one's not a strong one.The only good thing he has is attack versatility, but the only one you want to avoid is his missile strike, which does a lot of damage.Otherwise, his other attacks really aren't hitting so hard.Just bash at him and he should die, nothing so hard.
Providence
Providence
Bulwark of the weak

Health:9000
Damage:24
Top Speed:14

This is it,the final boss. This dude has a gigantic health bar and his attacks really does hurt. You'll need skills to beat him.He can teleport over you and strike down with his blade, dealing impressive damage. If you go too close to him,he'll start slashing you, dealing good damage. He can also invoque purple rings, exploding after a little bit.He can also bash his sword at the ground, creating explosions left and right and stunning you on hit.Worst of all,he also can create a barrier, making everything hurt him of only 1 HP.

After you take him down, you're not done with him though. He'll send you 2 Glided Wurms, both having 1 attack each. The red one will fire a laser that follows you,and the blue one will fire blue balls in a scatter-like range. Both can fly around and through the walls.Luckily,no damage on touching you.Shouldn't be a big problem

After the Glided wurms,he'll come back, this time with a shadow-like copy of him and will spawn 2 Temple Guards right next to him. He's got the exact same moveset though, but this time there's 2.Just do like you did in step 1 while being more careful, and you'll be fine.
Ending of Chapter 5
And here is how Chapter 5 ends.

Note from Xgpmcnp:Rather short chapter,I shall say. This chapter is the second done in coop with CoffeeChipmunk, and the rest of the guides will surely be done with him too. After the Item chapter,it really felt good to only have to work an hour or such to finish the guide,as the Chapter 4 on items took 20 hours with 2 guys working on it.The Ancient Wisp's journal note was a matter of debate, because as much as it looked good,it knida made the Ancient Wisp look like a strong boss, while it really isn't.We decided to keep it and to let the players find out by themself,or in this note section,if someone even reads it.

Note from CoffeeChipmunk:
By Ifrit's Horn I banish thee!

You can use any parts of this guide anywhere you wish, and you do not need to mention my name, even though it'd be appreciated.Just don't claim it as yours, since that's a ♥♥♥♥♥ slap on my face and my work.

Special thanks to:
Anonxident,my girlfriend, for talking to me and helping me on certain English expression I had difficulty with (Frenchy over here!)
Moxicles,Erladino and Cogi234 for their feedback!

Fanta for removing my thirst and giving me enough sugar to stay awake.
McCain's Chocolate Cake for removing my hunger and tasting so good
Risk of Rain for having a nice main menu music, which fits the atmosphere and is just plain good
My mom and Holyprimme for telling me a couple jokes
And this Special Thanks section, for letting me write a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and make most of you guys laugh.

That's how Chapter 5 ends folks!

providence? pffttt, wicked ring, loader, and some crit stacks
you'll never get a stratch on you

The providence is easy boss to kill if you use the engineers sentries, because he will attack the sentries but still send the magenta rings at you, and if you know how to play engineer the providence is an easy boss.

You forgot that in the 3rd phase of Providence's battle, either him or his clone can use black rings, which drop you to 1hp instantly, not killing you.

Dat Guy 24 Apr, 2016 @ 8:50pm
oh, ok then, well ive only fought like 10 variants of bosses
Xgpmcnp  [author] 24 Apr, 2016 @ 11:00am
Yeah, they're easy to encounter and widely known. The guide didn't cover the variants though.
Dat Guy 24 Apr, 2016 @ 2:15am
there is a fire variant of the colossus, i fought him about a month ago, i would have thought that champion bosses were well known, but obviously not
