Description
Update 12 NOV 2024
Added Planter block and blueprints. Now able to craft essential resources like Farm Compost, Apples, and Apple Saplings with blueprints for sustainable farming in space.

Check out the Trees drop Apples mod for early game foods.

Planters block is now cheaper and is small grid! It lets you make Apple Saplings and another way to get compost.

Apple Tree Farms: Drops apples and logs over time

Fish Traps: Will catch fish when worms are in the trap. When Water mod is installed it will only work underwater.

The Planter Box is an essential component for your farming operations. It allows you to grow various crops, providing a sustainable source of food and resources for your colonies.

**Usage:**
- **Worms:** Early game food! Put Farm Compost into the planter and it will create worms. Put stone in with the Worms to create more Farm Compost!
Apples now turn to Worms inside the Planter Box

- **Planting:** Place the Planter Box in a suitable location and add place plants on top to start growing crops.

- **Growing:** You must first fully "build" each plant to access the crops "inventory"

- **Harvesting:** Once they are done producing make sure to empty the crops to use as food for your livestock or trade with other players.

- **Crafting:** Future products will be introduced!

  • Add Cattle Farm
  • Will add more crop types
  • Get NPCs to sell crops
  • Drop containers with crops
  • Check out the iSurvival Collection for other addons.

The planter blocks work in space, but need to be airtight

Do the planter blocks work on space stations and ships?

I like the idea! I will try my hand at a goat :)

Firstly, Thank you!
Since “Eat, Drink, Sleep, Repeat.” and Plant and Cook have been becoming increasingly outdated I have been looking for a replacement. Your iSurvival is excellent and your addition of Sanity is a nice touch.
Now to the one issue I am having...
I would like to suggest that you change your Cattle Farm to a Goat farm instead. Here's why...

Space:
Goats are smaller and don't need as much space as cows, and space in space is important.

Ease of management:
Goats are generally easy to manage and train, while cows are hard to move and tend to break everything. Cows lean on fences, posts, trees, and anything else they can find which can’t support their weight breaking those things.

Milk:
Goat milk is a good source of protein, calcium, and other nutrients, and some people find it easier to digest than cow's milk. You can also make goat cheese, yoghurt, and other dairy products.

Meat:
Goat meat is a healthy alternative to other red meats, with less fat and saturated fat than beef, lamb, or pork.

Fibre:
Goats produce fibre such as mohair and cashmere, which can be spun into yarn or used to make other products.

Weed control:
Goats eat weeds and can be rented out for natural weed control.

Pack animals:
Goats can be trained to carry gear on hikes, especially on steep or rocky paths.

Feeding:
Goats are browsers that can eat brush up to 4 or 5 feet from the ground, but can also consume vegetable waste such as apple cores (from you trees). Cows feed close to the ground requiring constant replanting of seed.

Please do not see this as a complaint for your mod... I am greatly enjoying it.

Unfortunately no and I don’t have any plans to do so at this time. What about daily needs do you feel you’re missing? I might be able to work something in to the overall project. I’m still working hard building this out more

This is amazing, can i use it with Daily Needs Survival? I have always wanted a farm on SE. Thank you for making this, it looks brilliant!
