(-United Sci-Fi Races-) Updated

Description
I AM NOT THE ORIGINAL CREATOR OF THIS MOD!!!

This Mod was created by Fugasas, I merely updated it.

The Mod contains approximately 200 races from many different Sci-Fi universes.

Since this is my first attempt at modding, I am sure there are many mistakes, so please, if you know how to fix them, let me know.

The Stellaris mods you downloaded from steam are in the SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/281990/3280294042

The first number represents the game the mod is made for, the second number represents the mod

do you know which of the mod files that'd be? I've never fiddled with mod files from stuff gotten from steam itself. when I check say the mod folder in the documnets/paradox interactive/stellaris/mods folder they are all .mod files. Does the stuff show up instead in the installation folder?

@KayinDreemurr Yeah I noticed this too, but I did not yet try to fix it.

And for the first question: It would definetly be possible to break it down to the individual franchises. The important files are "00_portrait_categories.txt" and "00_portrait_sets.txt". These were the files that got added in the update that broke the original mod. To isolate one of the franchises you just have to delete the rest of them. For example: If you only want to play with the Star Wars (and vanilla) races you need to delete the everyone but the starwars and vanilla categories. If you only delete them from the categories file, they will still show up as AI empires but you wont be able to select them during empire creation. If you delete them from the sets file too, they will never show up.

can state that unexpectedly the other race portraits are being used in my run by the ai generated empires and races. Not undesired but not expected, at least compared to the last time I used the original.

Well it still works with current version which was the important part in my current test.

I don't know anything about modding at the moment, but was vaguely curious if it'd be possible to break this down into smaller mods of the various franchises?

As an aside, if I wanted to figure out to try and do that myself, what file and where should I be digging in in my steam folder or what not?
