That's because when I made them originally you couldn't have mono female gender set for a race, that was added later.

Anyway I just checked the files from the original mod and they are set with no gender as well

They were like this in the mod posted on lover's lab, I just updated that version. I suppose it's the best option for a race with one gender.

Yeah, but in the description of the original version it says "Female animated portraits of dryads". The game allows you to set the only gender to be female, but this mod does not have this option. Only indeterminate gender is available. And I don't know if it's because of the original mod or this updated version

That's because dryads have only one gender

I don't know if it's the fault of the original mod or the updated version, but there is no gender selection. There is only indeterminate gender
