SimpleCameraSetting

Description
There are many good features in the camera+, but there are performance issues, so I made this mod.
There will probably be no performance degradation because it will work in developer mode by modifying the same variables as modifying the camera settings.

configurable elements
-zoom range: Adjusting the maximum and minimum range of zoom
-Zoom speed: Adjusting the speed of zoom
-silhouette distance: Adjusting the distance that phones start to appear as silhouettes when the screen is reduced
-display distance: Adjusting the number of items, quality, and work bar to be seen when the screen is enlarged
-Smooth zoom: More smoothly zoomed in
-Follow Camera: Camera follows your selected pawn. Default key is Backspace
-Hide Bracket: When Camera is following your pawn, hide bracket

-Camera speed: Adjusting camera speed
Camera speed can be customized when zoom is 1,3,5,10,20,40,60,100 respectively

Do not use it with camera+ mode.

"The merchants aren’t showing the yellow question marks, even though they actually have them. Also, the roofs of residential areas and other zones aren’t displaying their proper colors.

The issue can be temporarily fixed by saving and reloading the game, but it keeps happening again after playing for a while. I’m not sure if this is caused by a mod—has anyone else experienced the same problem?

(Note: I used translation software for this, so I’m not sure if it’s accurate.)":steamfacepalm:

Sorry for double posting, but many plants also have strange draw-lines (maybe for their animation in the breeze?) and also holding platforms.

1.6 update 'works' but I think it is making a lot of artifacting. Pawns sometimes have a strange box around them. https://i.imgur.com/pS7LjdW.png

@ray12031203 Well the vsync setting is on app controlled and nvidia control panel tells me access denied when I try to change anything (even after starting as admin), which obviously is not your problem but yeah. Still, thanks for your reply and even with the stuttering it's much better than no autocam at all. But maybe you still want to look into it? It's not like helping specifically me would have solved that just being an issue for some of your users.

@Freemind
For the pawn following function, I use vanilla's settings, so if there's a problem, it's a problem with Rimworld itself.
However, setting the VSync setting on the NVDIA to adaptive or on may solve the Tearing problem.

Hi, thanks for making this. However the pawn following isn't smooth for me, it basically jitters as the pawn changes position before the camera only follows in the next update. Quite terrible the more I zoom in. Someone else here talked about this, saying they don't have it at 60fps. Can't limit that though and my screen is 75hz. Maybe this indicates the need for a slightly more robust system where you maintain a smoothed camera position independent from the target position?

There were also problems at the map edge, basically it wanted to set the position where its not allowed to go so it started jumping back and forth. Also similar effects when you try to scroll while locked into following. I wouldn't mind that part, just reporting it as a symptom.

Tested this for 1.6, the bare minimum works properly but not the mod settings/configs.

Also got this error. No indication what caused it, but google search brought me here.
