Description
ATTENTION!

I am not the original author of this mod. The original mod can be found here:

https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1163764288
I simply reuploaded this mod because the workshop listing of the original had a bug that doesn't allow it to be found in the workshop or added to new collections. The author stated in the description of the original mod (which as of 10/13/2023 you can see for yourself) that others have permission to reupload, so I did. If they update their original mod, I will remove it.

I will not be making major fixes to this mod on my own, but I will incorporate any that are provided to me from others.

This mod adds 5 new sloped hull blocks to the game. The variants include hull panels with a darkened trim, hull pannels that have more vibrant colours when painted, and sloped panels that are made of glass, with combinations of the above. Crafting recipies and spawn codes are as follows:

Dark Hull Panel (newslopes_dark): 1 titanium bar and 1 silver bar
Colourful Hull Panel (newslopes_colourful): 1 titanium bar and 1 silver bar
Dark Colourful Hull Panel (newslopes_darkcolourful): 1 titanium bar and 1 silver bar
Glass Hull Panel (newslopes_glass): 1 titanium bar, 1 silver bar, 1 glass block
Dark Glass Hull Panel (newslopes_darkglass): 1 titanium bar, 1 silver bar, glass block
Trimless Glass Panel (newslopes_glasstrimless): 1 titanium bar, 3 glass blocks

The blocks use the tile IDs 712 to 717

All recipies return 20 panels and are crafted at a teir 2 workbench. They should be unlocked by default. Every block is fully paintable. Enjoy!

I think it is the second option, it is transparent although it is decorated with some lines to make it look like glass.

I will rephrase. If you placed the block in space with no background behind it, would it be completely invisible? Or does it have an actual texture besides being completely transparent?

Before responding, I apologize for the delay and in responding, March has been a very complicated month for me.

They had a transparent texture, very similar to glass, but they did not allow the passage of outside light. If you built a closed room and used the blocks as a window you could see the panorama in the background, but the light did not enter through the glass.

Its behavior is very similar to Minecraft's tinted glass

Are those "glass panel" blocks straight up just invisible/textureless blocks that are defined as opaque or did they have a texture?

I don't have it unfortunately,

Meaning: If you still have the mod file somewhere I can take a look at it.

It doesn't have any new panels. This is literally just a reupload so that you can find it in the workshop and add it to new collections. I do not know how to create such an item. If you discover a way to on your own or someone else does and someone posts it here, I will happily incorporate it into the mod with credit to you, but I don't plan on significantly updating this mod myself.

Hello, I have the old mod in my package for starbound, but I was surprised that this one has new panels and I would like to check them out as soon as I get home. I will look at them, but in the meantime, I want to make a small request, I have seen in some mods that there are transparent blocks that allow you to see the background of the screen but do not allow ambient light to pass through, unfortunately the creator of the mod where that glass block existed. I eliminated it because I considered it unnecessary and useless (thereby ruining many of my constructions where I used that element to create dark rooms where only the silhouette of the player and the monsters can be seen) my request is if you can create that type of glass panel that It does not allow ambient light to enter, it would be very useful to me, thank you very much in advance.
