Description

Description
Shows service coverage, land value and details about leveling for zoned buildings.
The length of the bar corresponds to the maximum effect, so the longer the bar the bigger is the possible effect. Because not all services are equally impactful, then this quickly tells you what services are worth investing in.

The panel only shows effects that are actually valid for a specific type of building, others are not shown (hence the empty spaces). E.g. Cargo Transport is super important for Industry, but has no effect on Office.

Source code at GitHub[github.com]

Quick explanation of bar tooltips and colors.
Key info is rate. It is used to calculate effect. If rate is below midRate then the bar will be yellow. If above, then blue. Green means that rate is max. Red bars are for effects that have negative impact.
If the bar is grayed-out, then the DLC is misisng.

Compatibility
You cannot use original Show It! and Show It 2! at the same time.

Credits
This started as an improvement to Show It! by Keallu but I virtually rewrtitten the entire mod :) Still, there is some code left and Keallu's mod was an inspiration. That is why I also decided to use the original name "Show It!".

@amber Could be an old pic, from earlier version of the mod, when it showed all no matter what. I added hiding non-relevant info later.

Thanks for the work! Gonna try this out. Quick question, though:
You say "the panel only shows effects that are actually valid for a specific type of building", but -- looking at your screenshots -- what does 'Cargo Transport' have to do with residential buildings at all?

@zeemot Energy and water consumption don't influence leveling.

Is "energy consumption" a possible detail to be added in future versions? Current energy and water consumption are key for evaluate the economical viability of a resource-limited industry building.

@infixo no big deal, i just thought having more options to display the values would be a good idea. i'm ok with what you currently have.

@BloodPawWerewolf The game pretty much uses percentages (hidden below progress bars) to show progress. It is not very much informative. Numbers are clear indicators.
What would be the benefit of going back to percentages? If service coverage is 30% and you need 32% to upgrade, then you will never know which effect will give you that 2% because there would be no clear relation between them.
And last but not least - original ShowIt! uses percentages if you prefer...
Blood-PawWerewolf 10 Jul, 2023 @ 2:53pm
is there any chance of an option for percentages instead of decimals?

i think having both as an option that you can choose would be nice.
