Description
1. Megastructure Remover:

Version: 1.6.3

1.1 Main-Mod:
  • This mod adds a new Menu with which you can remove different megastructures.
  • To open the Menu, go in the edicts list (F2). There you can find a option to open the Menu.
  • Then choose your owned megastructure in your empire and press the trashcan symbol in the new Menu.
  • When you click it, you get a EVENT if you are sure to remove the megastructure.
  • You can choose >yes< to remove it or >no< to return.

1.2 Sub-Mod:
  • To get a easier Way (or if you want the classic idea of the mod) you can add the Sub-Mod here .
  • With this mod you get the trashcan symbol in the megastructure window.
  • Then also just choose your owned megastructure in your empire and left to the 'focus' button is the new 'delete' / 'remove' button (trashcan symbol).
  • When you click it, you will also get a EVENT if you are sure to remove the megastructure.
  • And you can also choose >yes< to remove it, or >no< to return.
  • Important: the Sub-Mod can interfer with other mods. Then it might not work.

1.3 Special Sub-Mod for UI Overhaul Dynamic Mod:
  • To get the shortcut icon you can add the special Sub-Mod here .
  • With this mod you get the trashcan symbol in the megastructure window.
  • Just choose your owned megastructure in your empire and on the right site of the Megastructure window is the new 'delete' / 'remove' button (trashcan symbol).
  • When you click it, you will also get a EVENT if you are sure to remove the megastructure.
  • And you can also choose >yes< to remove it, or >no< to return.
  • Important: this special Sub-Mod only works with the UI Overhaul Dynamic Mod and also only if it is put under the Overhaul Mod in the Playset list in the Stellaris launcher.

2. Info:
  • The Main Mod is (most likely) independent from other mods, so you can play the game with other mods.
  • It is not possible to remove multiple megastructure, only one by one.
  • This Mod also works in Multiplayer.
  • The AI is not able to remove megastructures with this mod.
  • The Mod has English, German (Deutsch), French (Français) and simplified Chinese (简体中文) language.
  • You get back between 60% to 80% of the alloy's used for the megastructure.
  • Important: to remove a Habitat, you have to pass until the next ingame day. then the Habitat is removed.
  • There is a known bug; if you open the remover menu and close it and want to open the remover menu again, then the game crash. You can prevent it by letting the game run until the next ingame day.

latest update 1.6.3 for last version is out now.

the problem that the game crash if the menu is opened two times is fixed.

if there are any problems , just tell me

not only that. every stellaris patch makes it worse to write a mod. you always have to figure out in which file the problem is and everytime paradox makes a change that it gets harder to find it...

Does not remove Habitats or Major Orbitals in 4.0 in its current form. Hopefully the update will fix this.

Paradox has a big mental problem if they really think it's okay to have only a few megastructures be removable.

It's NOT fun putting a megastructure in a bad spot or getting ownership of one just to not be able to remove it.

this mod crashes my game every time i try to use it and won't let me remove habitats
