Description
HD Smoother Loading Icon

Replaces the low quality loading l4d spinner for an upscaled, much smoother version of it. This new loading icon has 6x more frames and is animated at 60 fps (meaning, the speed remains the same, it only adds way more in-between frames)

This add-on uses Royami-kun's upscaled  UI textures, all credit goes to him:  Link to his add-on

How to properly install:
If you want to see the HD icon when all your add-ons are loading in the main menu you can, but you'll have to do an extra step:
- Subscribe to this addon
- Open the game so the addon installs
- Go to your "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop" folder in your computer.
- Find this add-on files and drag them to "...\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons" (the previous folder)
- When you restart the game, the add-on will already be in place, with no need to wait for the workshop add-ons to load.

this is honestly so nice and satisfying to stare at while in a loading screen :steamhappy:

relly nice! But for some reason the spinner will remain freeze for like 5 sec when loading a map. Iv tried to delete the .vmt file and it fixes but remaining a low frame rate. I guess i have to pick one between low fps or freeze for half of loading :(

I used VTFEdit. The trick is to put in the .vmt file the following:

"Proxies"
{
"AnimatedTexture"
{
"animatedTextureVar" "$basetexture"
"animatedTextureFrameNumVar" "$frame"
"animatedTextureFrameRate" "60"
}
}

You can open my mod using GCFScape and check all the files if that helps you.
