アルト（Alto）は、スズキのハッチバック型軽自動車（日本国外仕様車においてはAセグメント）のブランド（商標）、および車名である。

ここでは9代目のHA-37型について解説する。

外観は8代目のコンセプトを基本としながらも、ラパンのような丸みを帯びたフォルムに楕円形のモチーフが取り入れられたスタイルとなり、フロントフェイスは一部のグレードにメッキフロントバンパーガーニッシュが採用され、ヘッドランプも一部のグレードにLEDが採用された。

8代目同様に最上位グレードにはスポーク形状のアルミホイールが装備される。

一部グレードを除きルーフは白色で統一され、ボディカラーと2トーンとなる。
また、8代目ではリアバンパーに組み込む形で横型に配置されていたリアコンビネーションランプは7代目以来となるリアバンパーから独立した中央配置の縦型に戻され、8代目ではアンバー色となっていたフェンダーサイドターンランプも7代目以来となるクリアに戻された。内装ではインパネとドアトリムにネイビーが採用され、シートは表皮にデニム調・背面をブラウンとした2トーン仕様とした。

パワートレインはR06A型エンジン+エネチャージを構成するガソリン車（HA37S型）に加え、R06D型エンジン+ISG（モーター機能付発電機）で構成された歴代のアルトで初となるマイルドハイブリッド車（HA97S型）[注釈 31]を新たに設定。加速時にモーターがエンジンをアシストする機能が備わったことで、2WD車はWLTCモードによる燃料消費率で軽自動車No.1となる27.7km/Lを実現し、軽自動車で初となる「2030年度燃費基準95%達成車」となった。
