Proper 2K UI Project

A 1440p version of the Proper 4K UI Project mod. This mod was created due to the high amount of requests I received for this resolution, but since I do not personally play on a 1440p monitor it will have a lower priority for mods compatibility and updates than the 4K one (more on that below)

The purpose of these mods is to eliminate the blurred interface elements and poor legibility that the game's scaling option and all existing methods (scale_ui, windows "hacks") introduce when scaling the game for playing at high resolutions.





Same things as the 4K UI Project

• Upscaled - rather than being scaled-up - GFX assets in order to get rid of the blur EU4's built-in scaler and the Scale_UI mod introduce when scaling the game

• Replacement of the original font with Century Gothic, otherwise known as the wonderful Stellaris Font 🤩(Alternative, "Angie Sans" font can be found in the mod's folder)
  
  
  
• Compatible with most map mods

- A scaled minimap, files to change the banners for shields, and a different font style can all be found in separate .zip archives inside of the mod's folder (.../Steam/steamapps/common/workshop/ 236850/2863086388)

- Any mod that adds to, replaces, or somehow changes GFX/.gui files (Aside from, say, flags packs and most map mods) will likely be incompatible as they need to be scaled, too. However, apart from total conversion mods, this is thankfully a relatively simple process, so feel free to request any mods you want scaled and I'll try my best (99% of them should work with no issues, as long as they don't conflict with any other mod(s) you have installed!), though I recommend trying them out first as it might not need anything done to it to begin with

- Patches and updates for the EMF 1440p-scaled mods will arrive at a slower pace than ones for the 4K UI Project.

- EMF Mods that are supported without any patches:

National Ideas Expanded
Historical National Ideas Expanded
They will remain compatible for as long as no graphical elements that need to be scaled are added to the mods

- Will need to be updated alongside any of the game's updates. If It's a large update then this will usually be performed during the weekends unless I find the time to do so before then, but feel free to notify me if any updates were introduced to the game that ended up breaking the mod as I sometimes take breaks from EU4 and might not have noticed

- Should be used with the game's scaling option set to 1.0
