Player Random Names [LUA]

Description
Changes your character names to random, even for character from respawn shuttle!
Useful for RP servers

Updated to v0.17.12.0
Working in Campaign mode.

Requires "Lua for Barotrauma" to work

This is server-side mod!
• That means only host needs download "Lua for Barotrauma"


This mod has a configuration file.
Go to "steamapps/workshop/content/602960/2786555869/Lua/config.lua", to change some values in it

You can change:
  • Possible first and last names
  • Prefixes and suffixes
    • Will they appear
    • How frequently
    • What they can be
      (You can configure prefixes for certain jobs, even for custom jobs)
  • Bot prefixes
  • Character Nicknames
    • Will they appear
    • How frequently
    • What they can be
    • Use player nicknames as character nicknames
      • How frequently
      • How much symbols is allowed
  • Lobby warning when player change his nickname
  • Prevent players from changing their nicknames (Disabled by default)

I think this mod bricks any ships with access to certain characters (EKG an armory or anything locked to a certain ID card tag) as you cannot open these and have to cut them open.

@CSQRB I've played as Mudraptor on Raptorium Submarine with a friend and a couple of bots, and I noticed that when bots wear a diving suit their names change because of the disguise, it seems that their ID card didn't change as you said

this issue was happening because character ID card left unmodified, when his name was not. For some reason your ID was not replaced and this is bad.
