Description
This is a version of the Weaponcore Vanilla Replacer, rebalanced and modified to fit better with NorthWind Weapons.

Weapon Information

Gatling Guns have an AI range of 1200m and projectile range of 2km. Bullet velocity increased to 800m/s. Damage modifiers adjusted to make this a good point defense weapon but ineffective vs larger or armored ships.

Missiles are now a long range guided artillery rocket. Max AI range of 5km, ineffective at short range. Also makes a good ATGM.

Autocannon is now a small flak gun (think 40mm Bofors) AI and projectile range is 2km, shell velocity is 700m/s. Will proximity detonate when fired from a turret at a target.

Assault Cannon remains an AP tank gun. 3km AI range 8km shell range, 700m/s shell velocity. Has the NW AP ricochet mechanic.

Artillery Cannon is now a low velocity howitzer type weapon firing semi armor piercing HE rounds. 3.5km AI range and 8km projectile range, shell velocity is 350m/s.

Railguns are still railguns. Balanced vs the NW railguns, the vanilla railguns have very high shell velocity but less area damage. The LG railgun has a shell velocity of 2500m/s, SG is 3500m/s, both have a max projectile range of 8km.

Ammo costs have been adjusted to be inline with NW. Platinum has been removed from all ammo's and Uranium is now only required for Railgun rounds.

DPS for all weapons are inline with similar weapons in NorthWind.

There are a number of different WC vanilla replacer mods out there. I do not know what they all do.

is there a mod that turns them into accurate homing missiles?

The rockets small or large fixed or turret are all the same missile projectile. they do have some guidance but not allot. they are basically ment to function as guided artillery rockets or air to ground guided missiles and they are fairly long range. they dont work as well in the mid range and short range they might as well be a dumb rocket. bit different and harder to use effectively and ment to be spammed a bit. that is why they are also WAY cheaper then vanilla, not requiring platinum.
