Description
Music of the Galactic Civil War

A collection of music from the Galactic Civil War era, covering Canon and Legends material!

This mod is a collection of tracks from a variety of sources from the earliest days of the Galactic Civil War through the Battle of Endor. This mod will be updated periodically with music from canon sources as they become available.

However, this mod does not include any tracks from any of the prequel or original trilogies and instead focuses on music from various games and animated series set during this era. If you want to have music from the original and prequel trilogies, please check out cmo3056's "Better Star Wars Music."

-------------------------------------------------------

Currently includes tracks from:
Legends
  • The Force Unleashed
  • The Force Unleashed II
  • Empire at War
  • Forces of Corruption

Canon
  • The Bad Batch
  • Tales of the Empire
  • Rebels
  • Jedi: Fallen Order
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • Andor
  • Outlaws

--------

This collection of music will not conflict with any mods. At worst you will have duplicates show up on the music player if you are using another mod with the same/similar tracks.

Thanks to SolarRider for allowing me to use some tracks from his "More Star Wars Music" mod. However, the biggest credits must be given to John Williams, Nataile Holt, William Ross, Kevin Kiner, Nicholas Britell, Frank Klepacki, Gordy Haab and Stephen Barton, and Mark Griskey for their work on Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi: Fallen Order, Empire at War and Forces of Corruption, Andor, Star Wars: Rebels and the Bad Batch, and The Force Unleashed.

Yep, reconverting using Audacity fixed the issue.

@Railgunner2160:
Its probably not saved properly. It needs to be a 44100Hz rate. Its easy to do if you have Audacity.

Hey there, I just got into modding music for stellaris and I'm having a weird issue and wondered if you had run across it and solved the issue. I've converted the songs, made the files and the music appears in the music player ingame but for some reason the songs when the play ingame are doing this weird skip thing where it seems like only the first half second plays then it skips another half-second of audio the resumse and repeats in a cycle. The .ogg files play just fine outside the game even with the standard windows media player. Did you ever run into this issue?

@Jinetez:
I honestly thought I had some in but I guess not. I might put a couple tracks in but I've mostly been avoiding it since Better Star Wars Music basically has the whole soundtrack in it and most of the highlights are in New Dawn.

Its the main reason I've avoided putting any of the major tracks from the prequel and original trilogies in this and the Clone Wars music mod and why I've only done select tracks from the sequels for the New Republic one.

not Rogue One music?

@HellPaul:
Since you also asked this on the Clone Wars music one, lemme just answer it here:

Yes. Probably after The Bad Batch Season 3 and Tales of the Empire wrap up.

The New Republic, Old Republic, and the Clone Wars ones will not be updated for a while or until something in any of those settings get something with new music.
HellPaul 10 Apr, 2024 @ 2:47pm
Will it be updated?

@Vhalknor:
All my music mods are designed to work with one another. There may be some overlap with the Old Republic music mod and the Legacy of the Old Republic mod but thats because I use some of the same tracks for both and it will only show one version of the duplicated track instead of both.
Vhalknor 26 Oct, 2023 @ 3:54pm
With this and other music mods, can I run multiple at the same time? Or will they overwrite each other so only one is active?
Bosmeri  [author] 15 Aug, 2022 @ 2:47pm
If you want the original trilogy tracks, most - if not all of them - are in the "Better Star Wars Music" mod linked in the mod description.
