Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Ohio 14th Street
The Fourteenth Street Bridge, also known as the Ohio Falls Bridge, Pennsylvania Railroad Bridge, Conrail Railroad Bridge or Louisville and Indiana (L&I) Bridge, is a truss drawbridge that spans the Ohio River, between Louisville, Kentucky and Clarksville, Indiana.
Built by the Louisville Bridge Company and completed in 1870, the bridge was operated for many years by the Pennsylvania Railroad, giving the company its only access to Kentucky. Ownership of the railroad and the bridge passed on to Penn Central and later Conrail, which then sold the line from Louisville to Indianapolis, Indiana to the Louisville and Indiana Railroad, the current bridge owner.
The draw portion of the bridge is a vertical-lift span, built in about 1918 in place of a swing span. The towers and machinery of the lift span were designed by Waddell and Son, Inc., and there is a plaque on the SW tower reading, "Waddell Vertical Lift Bridge, Waddell and Son, 1917". The draw span is across the upstream end of the Louisville and Portland Canal, which includes the McAlpine Locks and Dam. Ohio River traffic passes through this canal to navigate past the Falls of the Ohio.

  • Pack of 2 networks:
  • Viaduct network: Contains the ground abutment and node switches with other networks. Elevated, nodeless viaduct network.
  • Bridge network: Contains the main truss on bridge prefab and transition networks on elevated prefab.
  • Electrified: Comes with overhead lines. If you wish to use diesel only, use Network Skins and disable catenaries.
  • Part of Railway 2: USA expansion, that features accurate rail profile, 1:1 scaled wire height and many more features.

Ohio metalwork textures are shared between networks.

Comes as electrified networks. Use Network Skins to disable wires on-dragging, or Catenary Replacer to cancel wires map-wide. Part of RAILWAY project, thus requires Railway Replacer to customize track props.

Highly recommend to check the complete guide for full features and details.

Thanks for your response. It came out just like the gallery image you have. I figured it out based on your YouTube video. I had to drag it with bridge mode.

Please refer to the video on how to place the network. If you are encountering any issues with AN, you need to contact with modder of the AN mod, I do not maintain it.

When I make the bridge segment, the trusses face in the opposite direction. Also, the adaptive networks mod doesn't work when I click on the railway segment.

Why the railway replacer requirement?

This entire pack is amazing. Granted, I only use a few of the items from the collection. But they are fantastic.

Not that I mind these BEAUTIFUL American bridges. Hell's Gate is simply a work of art and this looks beautifully industrial. This whole package is utterly fantastic and I can hardly wait to get it into my build!

I'm updating R1 bridges as we speak, they'll be re-published with R2 track design

Question for you. Will some of the bridges from Railway 1 be converted for use in Railway 2? Or is that already possible (since really, the models are fine, the track just needs replacing)? Getting ready to make the switch, but don't want to be stuck with a bunch of R1 bridges failing to connect with the (beautiful!) R2 track.

Nice! I love your work and can't wait to see more!
REV0  [author] 22 Oct, 2021 @ 6:22pm
yeah, i'll make a small pack for those

Is there any plan for a trestle bridge/elevated network that would work really well over small streams?
