Beskrivelse
The official weapons expansion for IO, released alongside IO v1.5.
This module adds a number of new fixed and turreted weapons, which fit the themes and balance of IO. These weapons fire multiple ammunition types and use scripted projectile behaviour; shells are affected by gravity, and have functioning armor penetration.

Non-vanilla weapons included in previous versions of IO have also been removed from the main mod and transferred here to allow for more modularity. No major changes have been made, and the switch should be seamless, provided this module is added alongside IO.

This module version uses a mix of vanilla mechanics and scripted behaviour courtesy of Meridius_IX / Lucas and Whiplash141.

It is NOT Weaponcore-compatible.

Features
Light and Heavy Gravel Turrets
Basic, early-game defensive options, using compressed air fire easily produced gravel-based ammunition.

155mm cannons
Industrial-tech ballistic weapons, capable of firing medium-caliber rounds accurately over moderate distances. Ammunition available in armor-piercing, depleted-uranium AP, or high explosive.

305mm cannons
Industrial-tech ballistic weapons, capable of firing large-caliber rounds accurately over long distances. Ammunition available in armor-piercing, depleted-uranium AP, or high explosive.

Coilguns
High-tech ballistic weapons, using pulsed magnetic coils to fire projectiles at extreme speeds over very long ranges. Ammunition available in armor-piercing or depleted-uranium AP.

Point-Defence, Light, and Heavy Lasers
Space-age energy weapons, using powerful beams of coherent light to damage their targets.

I am checking between this mod and AceTech to see if anyone crashes to desktop when they grind down a fixed large grid heavy laser block?

A fix for the 305mm cannons not being able to house their own ammo that I worked out was to change the volume of the cartridges themselves from 125L to 100L. SteamLibrary (one with your SE install)/steamapps/workshop/content/244850/2616181591/Data/AmmoMagazines_L&L.sbc (I used Notepad++ to open it). Locate the <Volume> lines for the 305mm shells (should be lines 104, 132, 160) and change their values from 125 to at least 100. I'm no code monkey but this seems to work fine for me.

If you are busy with other things I could take a look at perhaps making a fixed version of the mod rather than a separate "fix mod" like I was doing before. I just don't want to re-upload your work without your permission

@Clockwork168 Bug to report. If you have the Large Grid CLG Autocannon turret and a vanilla Gatling on the same grid the game instantly crashes when they both shoot. Crash log reports what looks like an audio error. I play on realistic sound mode

Also i know everyone else is saying it too, but the 305mm cannon isn't usable on realistic inventory since it has 100L of space and the rounds are 125L. I tried playing with the modfiles myself and couldn't get it to work. It needs your expertise

Seems that mod creator did huge flop making 305mm shells with bigger volume than 305mm gun capacity

is there a way to adjust turret cargo capacity? the 305mm cannon has 100 cargo space but the ammunition it uses is 125 so it won't even load even if I try to manually load the ammo it wont accept it

What does the gravel turret use as ammunition? I tried putting gravel and stone into it and it wouldn't accept.
