This is a collection of two maps set in the deserts of the south west United States. Both of these maps use the same height map and detail sheet. These maps are used to further test desert style maps with detailed terrain.

If you couldn't guess gm_detailedcanyon takes place in and around a canyon. There is a large river that features as the centerpiece for this map. Other than that this map is very simple.

This map takes place on an old forgotten highway somewhere between Tucson Arizona and Las Vegas Nevada. Several abandoned structures are featured in this map including a drive-in movie theater and a simple two story house.

Please make sure you have the dependency installed before playing the map as it is required for the custom detail sheet (the bush models) to appear. Also a quick tip to increase the view distance of the bushes type cl_detaildist into the console. cl_detaildist 10000 is the max before things start getting weird
