Description:
The MiG-23A is an export air defense fighter whose weapons are mostly controlled. The fighter has above average maneuverability and acceleration. Due to the weak side and forward dampers, requires some piloting skill from the pilot (provided that the export BC is used). the fighter's radar allows you to attack targets at a distance of about 4+ km. For defense, the fighter has two turrets and IR traps. The afterburner allows for a relatively long time to increase the power of the extinguishers (but not the forward ones). The onboard ship allows you to automatically land a fighter.

The MiG-23 was a Soviet air defense fighter that underwent many upgrades. It has advantages over a number of fighters of the 2nd and 3rd generations, has good handling, unpretentiousness (not in all aspects) and good maneuverability. Starting with the modification, the MLD begins to use vortex formation when maneuvering along with the MiG-29 and Su-27. The latest modification (MLDG) significantly increases the combat effectiveness of the fighter and allows the use of the latest Soviet missiles (R-77, R-73).
It became the basis for the MiG-27 attack aircraft.
