Description
OVERVIEW
Adds 7 new buildings that all civs can build (Meeting House, Public Bath, Coastal Fortress, Aquarium, Aerodrome, Shopping Mall and Enrichment Plant). Also makes changes to various other buildings to make them a little more interesting and balanced with the new additions. Also adds a new religious belief and alters default city air unit capacity.

SPECIFICS
This mod adds the following buildings:

- MEETING HOUSE
- Requires the new Meeting House belief
- 200 Faith cost
- +2 Faith, Culture and Production

- PUBLIC BATH
- Tech: Machinery
- 1 Maintenance
- +1 Food for every 4 Citizens
- +1 Culture
- Requires an Aqueduct

- COASTAL FORTRESS
- Tech: Chemistry
- 1 Maintenance
- +5 City Strength, +25 City HP
- Ranged units (including Siege) built in the city are 33% stronger vs naval units
- Requires 1 Iron
- City must be on the Coast

- AQUARIUM
- Tech: Biology
- 2 Maintenance
- +2 Happiness
- +1 Science for each sea resource and Atoll
- City must be on the Coast

- AERODROME
- Tech: Flight
- 2 Maintenance
- Increases air unit capacity from 1 to 6 and allows Paratroopers to be built in the city
- City must not be built on Hills

- SHOPPING MALL
- Tech: Penicillin
- +1 Gold for every 4 Citizens
- +1 Happiness
- Requires a Stock Exchange

- ENRICHMENT PLANT
- Tech: Particle Physics
- 5 Maintenance
- +3 Uranium
- Requires 1 Uranium
- Maximum of 3 per civ

This mod also makes changes to the following existing buildings:

- ANCIENT ERA
- Monastery - no bonuses from Incense and Wine, provides +2 Science, higher Faith cost (200)
- Stone Works - provides +1 Culture instead of +1 Production, can be built on Plains

- CLASSICAL ERA
- Mint - +2 Gold from Copper, can now be built if city is working Copper

- MEDIEVAL ERA
- Armory - provides +1 Iron
- Harbor - requires a Lighthouse (thought it always did!)
- University - no Science from Jungles, +15% Great People generation (Siamese Wat retains Jungle bonus)

- RENAISSANCE ERA
- Bank- no trade route bonuses, -10% tile purchasing cost, enemy plunders double if the city is captured (German Hanse retains trade bonuses, Persian Satrap's Court doesn't have plunder penalty)
- Windmill - +2 Food instead of +2 Production
- Zoo - +2 Science from Jungle and Marsh

- INDUSTRIAL ERA
- Hospital - Land units built in the city gain +5HP when healing, requires a Public Bath
- Military Academy - Land units built in the city spawn Great Generals faster, higher maintenance (2)
- Police Station - +1 Happiness, higher maintenance (2)
- Stock Exchange - loses base +3 Gold, gains +1 Gold from each resource worked by the city

MODERN ERA
- Research Lab - loses +4 Science, gains +5% Science from Research Agreements
- Stadium - +4 Tourism

ATOMIC ERA
- Airport - less maintenance (3), requires an Aerodrome (therefore city must not be on Hills)
- Medical Lab - new icon, +1 Scientist Specialist slot
- Recycling Plant - Requires 1 Iron

DESIGN NOTES
Part of my personal Civ 5 balancing overhaul (check my workshop for similar unit and civ packs with a wonder pack on the way) and again, trying to use as much of a official scenario art assets as possible. A lot of ideas taken from Civ 6 and previous Civ games here. If you like these additions, my workshop also has 2 smaller packs for buildings with location specific requirements.

OTHER NOTES
- This mod reduces city air unit capacity to 1 by default, which can be increased through the Aerodrome and Airport.
- Building and tech Civilopedia entries have been updated to reflect all changes where appropriate.

Yep, they work together and yep, Steam can be a pain like that. I've added a direct link at the bottom of the description.

Steam won't download this mod. I subscribed to this mod, the Units and Wonders Pack and Tweaks mods but only the Units and Wonders downloaded. Building Pack and Tweaks will not download (I assume all three are compatible) Any chance to get a direct link? I'm comfortable with direct install of mods).

What's this, a decent, minimalist rebalance that adds more flavor and variety to cities? Absolute lunacy!

Please can you please make a version of the mod available with only the new buildings and none of the tweaks?
