Description
This mod is a direct port from GrimyBunyip's Vanilla version
Special thanks to NelVleSiS for making the new mod preview image for me.

Adds psionic combat sims and inventory items back into the game.

Psionic Combat Sims have the same drop rate as PCS Perception (which are substantially rarer than other PCS upgrades)

Amp Boosters:
+10 Psi Strength
cost 50 Supplies + 1 Sectoid Corpse (dropped from 60)
Requires Sectoid Autopsy

Whip:
+20 Psi Strength
ADDED ABILITY/Passive =Neurofeedback (+3 damage to enemies) that attack you with Psi abilities
cost 200 Supplies + 1 Gatekeeper Corpse
Requires Gatekeeper Autopsy

*Supply Costs + Psi Strength Bonuses for Amp Booster and Neurowhip are editable in the ini.
PCS drop rates are editable in the ini.
The Psi PCS's strength was hard-coded by Firaxis, and the PCS's Psi Offense stat code will only work with base game PsiOperative Soldiers. There is a fix for this coming in the community Highlander "at some point".
Until that time, I have added a workaround with giving the Psi PCS a will bonus as well as an ability that grants a hard +4/+8/+12 Psi Offense stat bonus per PCS level common/rare/epic.

I know this hasn't been updated in a couple of years, but I noticed that the Psi PCS still doesn't seem to be usable by anyone other than the vanilla psi operative class. Is there an existing workaround for this?

I assume the Amp Boosters wouldn't show up if I have the No More Psi Amps Mod installed?

@Zelfana, thank you for pointing that out. I currently dont have access to mod or make many updates so I have opened a new topic for this mod with your fix.

The items are not showing up in the build item menu because of the psioffense item category not being added by the mod. Put this in XComGameData.ini to fix it:

[XComGame.X2ItemTemplateManager]
+BuildItemMiscCategories="psioffense"

Anyone still working on this mod that knows why I'm not getting the amp or whip unlocked when I get the sectoid research?

I can't unlock the booster/whip even after doing all of the research either. Has anyone fixed this problem?

I don't know if anyone has figured out what the issue is, but I'm also experiencing the problem of the Booster and Whip not showing up to be built even after the research said it was unlocked
