Description
This is a re-release of SvenBerlin's original Berlin Wall Memorial part 1 from 2016. Sven's asset is one of my favorites on the workshop. It's the first custom building that I ever downloaded and it broke the ice for me with regards to playing Cities:Skylines with modded stuff. When I saw it, I just had to have it! The "Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer" on Bernauer Straße is one of my favorite places in Berlin.

Changes that I made:
  • Removed all props (trees, hedges, streetlights)
  • removed the Wall itself (with the idea that you can use our new one)
  • slightly widened the space between the steel walls to 64 meters
  • separated the Guard Tower to its own asset to be more useful in other scenarios
  • widened the footprint from 8 cells to 9 cells to allow peds to walk to the door on the left side
  • re-arranged gather markers
  • re-drew surface paint

Get the memorial building with the observation platform that goes on the other side of the street:

that's an interesting tower. Have you considered trying to model it yourself? That would be a great first project for blender

Thankyou! Would it be possible to include the old style watchtower too?
