Created with bootleg tools during the May 2020 mapping contest. 1st map I have ever made.

Just completed this map/mod, and I believe it is a strong 4-star. Other maps/mods that have earned a 5-star rating have much more detail in their scenes. I really enjoyed the way the blacked out scene finished near the end. BTW, did I see the G-Man moving behind the electronic gate in the blacked out room? Finally, was I supposed to find the shotgun? I found ammo, but no gun. OK, so I enjoyed it, and I thank you for your work.

This was tense and fun to play on Merciless, thanks to the fact that we are given the laser sight from the start. Without that the open street battle in the middle would not have been fun. The combat felt enhanced from start to finish. My playthru here: https://youtu.be/t_MSiYcZWi8

This map handled some aspects really well, and others not so well. The fights, for the most part, were compelling with ample cover and mobility options. The section that shined the brightest was, ironically, the darkened building and the fight leading up to it. I love that you can hear the shotgunner clomping and clinking around above you, as it's a very inventive tell that he's there, and it allows the player to not be caught off guard by him when going upstairs. The map started to fall apart once out of the warehouse, however. Like other people have mentioned, there is just too much space in the final arenas and too many puzzles crammed too close together. It could use some work, but the beginning showed potential for something really great if it was expanded upon.
