Description
The Vengeance-class is a relatively small and lightly armored drone carrier. It assumes a supporting role in Fleet engagements, sending in its drones from a distance. While other Fleet carriers, like the Wraith, Tyrant and Tigershark carry manned spacecraft, the Vengeance-class carry four Impaler Light Assault Drones. These are remotely controlled from stations inside the carrier.

The carrier’s Impaler drones are attached to its sides, and is armed with gatling guns, rocket launchers and a gatling turret. They are the main drone type carried by the Vengeance-class, though the docking platforms are designed to allow several other drone types of the same size to be used. The drones can be used for scouting out signals, to escort friendly ships, or in direct assaults against enemy ships or fighters, if they are within signal range of their carrier.

The Vengeance is a space-only vessel and cannot maneuver if caught in a planet’s gravity well. However, it does carry a Talaria transport shuttle, located in the hangar in the aft section of the engineering deck. This hydrogen powered shuttle can safely land on a planet’s surface for away-missions, and then launch back into space. The Vengeance also carries a Ceres Mk.IV Mining Drone, along with all the necessary equipment to process ore and assemble building components.

Armament:

Features:
● Has a shuttle hangar, with a Talaria transport shuttle docked.
● Carries four Impaler Light Assault Drones.
● Carries a Ceres Mk.IV Mining Drone for resource gathering in space.
● Jump Drive with a maximum range of 1 235 km.
● Several bridge stations with displays showing the ship’s status.
● Solar panels and various production equipment for prolonged independent operations.
● Airlock compatible with all T.N.F. ships and stations.
● No mods or DLCs.
● Contains fuel and components – tested in survival.

Known issues:
● Rdav's script doesn't seem to be working at the moment, and the drones must be manually controlled.

Works for me today in a local creative test. all the PB's were turned off and all the drone systems were off. Make sure you go into all the systems groups and turn them on, make sure you find the RDAV program blocks (NOT DEFAULT NAMES) and turn them on and recompile all of them just to be safe. Once I did all that, works fine.

Hi, my guess is that a game update has interfered with the script, as it was last updated by Rdav 17 months ago. I see that he is still working on a new version of the script, and I will install it on this ship as soon as it is released.

The drones don't undock, and they just stays there.

Either my brain is too tiny to control the drones, or something broke as it says I have 4 fighters currently in my control, then it drops and increasing all the way to 6! help please

This ship has now been updated with the latest version of Rdav's excellent script. The drones are working again.

Hi, still waiting for Rdav I'm afraid, he wrote 10 days ago that he was still working on the script update. I decided to write specifically about his script at the start of the description, and leave the "known issues" for anything else.

In an update on the script page, Rdav wrote that the recent changes to the game necessitates a full rework of his script. I can imagine that this will take a lot of work, so we'll just have to wait until he is done.
