Homeworld Ethics (2.3)

Description
Unique buildings for an empire's homeworld

Which can be built is based on the ethics and/or civics of the empire.

Each fanatic ethic typically allows the player and AI to build both a fanatic and non-fanatic empire unique building on their homeworld.

Each non-fanatic ethic typically allows the player and AI to build only a non-fanatic empire unique building on their homeworld.

Some buildings have an alternative requirement of a civic, or the new corporate authority in MegaCorp, rather than just specific ethics. Yes this means potentially you have more than three uniques available to you on your homeworld.

  • Capital Cathedral: OR Spiritualist, Fanatic Spiritualist, Exalted Priesthood
  • Central Datanet: OR Materialist, Fanatic Materialist, Technocracy
  • Central Memorial: Fanatic Pacifist
  • Elite City: OR Corporate Authority, Corporate Dominion, Aristocratic Elite, Fanatic Egalitarian, Fanatic Authoritarian, Authoritarian
  • FirstWorld Movement: Fanatic Xenophobe
  • Global Co-operative: OR Shared Burden, Fanatic Egalitarian, Fanatic Authoritarian, Authoritarian
  • Global Peacekeeping Force: OR Militarist, Fanatic Militarist
  • Global Police Authority: OR Xenophobe, Fanatic Xenophobe, Police State
  • Holy City: OR Fanatic Spiritualist, Imperial Cult, Exalted Priesthood
  • International Park: OR Pacifist, Fanatic Pacifist, Environmentalist
  • OneMind Movement: Fanatic Authoritarian
  • Search For Xeno Intelligence: Fanatic Xenophile
  • Silicon Valley: Fanatic Materialist
  • Space Agency: OR Xenophile, Fanatic Xenophile
  • Unified Economy Bureau: OR Corporate Authority, Corporate Dominion, Fanatic Egalitarian, Egalitarian
  • United Defence Force: OR Fanatic Militarist, Citizen Service, Warrior Culture
The AI tends to build these fairly early in a game as they have no tech prerequisite and are heavily weighted.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod alters no files in vanilla Stellaris so should be compatible with any other mod.
You DO NOT need MegaCorp. The Corporate Dominion civic is a valid alternative, and still in Stellaris sans MegaCorp.

if the homeworld gets destroyed is there any way to build it at new capital?

I've just updated with a new version that makes it far less likely for the AI to want to build anything in this mod. Whether that improves the AI's ability to actually develop a planet or not, isn't really going to be changed by that, as the real issue is the economic and planetary development AI of 2.3.3, which is broken.
AlphaAsh  [author] 15 Jul, 2019 @ 2:39am
I've been working on the vanilla AI the last few days. 2.3.3 has introduced a slew of bugs and has made the vanilla AI even more dysfunctional. In vanilla, the AI is regularly tanking its economy early, resulting in complete stagnation, including empty planets, and job popping due to dodgy scripting trying to use job sacking to compensate for deficits. It doesn't work, and lags up the game.

This mod only exacerbates these existing problems. Disable the mod for now. Any mod adding more choices to the current decision algorithms will make things worse for the AI.

2.3.3's AI is at the core of the issue.

This is how every non-gestalt AI planet looks like when I have this mod (and only this mod) on. The Gestalts are doing just fine; building districts and buildings like normal, but not the regular empires.

Cheers for the report. I'll take a look at it.

Hi, I would like to report that it seems like this mod is broken at the moment as when this mod is on; non-gestalt AI:s don't build planetary buildings or districts and instead just sits there letting the unemployment and empty building slots mount up.

Awesome, thanks. :)

Is this compatible with Glavius AI?
