Description
Important notice: This item has been replaced by the Brokkr Mk II line and will not be maintained or updated anymore!

The Brokkr Heavy Duty Construction Ship is a compact large grid Welder, designed for space. It can be used on the moon as long as you limit the load to two cargo-containers. The ship is powered by batteries and uses Ion Thrusters.

This ship is full vanilla and easy to build in survival, featuring no Mods or subgrids. The DLC is required to use the cockpit, but it can be easily exchanged with the vanilla one.

Caution: When building this in survival, check the Gyroscope and reduce power to a lower level (About 20% works fine for me). Otherwise this thing's extremly twitchy and might handle like a bull in a china shop. Except the bull is the size of a battletank on steroids.

Author's note
This ship was designed for a simple purpose: Welding large structures like dreadnoughts and space-stations quickly, without having to dock every two minutes to load additional material. That's pretty much everything to say about it. These things are ment to be cheap, disposable and quickly to set up. Enjoy, if you can!

Description
You want a nice and user-friendly general-purpose construction ship that is easy to fly, can reach tight spaces and allows for precice manouvers without the danger to hit and damage your project? Then this ship is not for you.

But if you want the efficency of a large-grid welder plus the ability to carry tons of material and don't mind that it is a pain in the a** to fly, hard to fit anywhere and toast pretty much everything that comes in contact with the thrusters: Welcome to the V.M.E Brokkr Heavy Duty Construction Ship! If it's stupid, but it works, it ain't stupid!

A very nice heavy salvager. The one thing less than good about the design is the life support duration (bring bottles).

If you do ever revisit the design the one thing you might want to do is flip the cockpit upside down. This makes it a lot easier for users to pipe the cockpit into the conveyor system. There are mod 1x1x1 oxygen tanks that would be easy to install in place of the useless vent. Replacing the ore detector with more cargo space is IMO also a quick win for a yard boat.

Keep up the good work!

I love this blueprint. I made a super-sized salvage craft out of it. And to fix the extremely high maneuverability, I replaced the side armor with heavy blocks and added a few cargo containers. As always Taidyr, great work!
