Equipped with 32 thrusters and four gatling guns, the PX-1 Kestrel makes for an excellent interceptor.

It comes shipped with ammo, uranium and some supplies like a gun and oxygen/hydrogen bottles.
The airvent will automatically suck in air to pressurize the cockpit if possible.
The access to the conveyor system and the cargo is at the very front of the ship.

Sometimes I wonder if we are all playing the same game. The Kestrel flies great, as of 5 June 2023. Gorgeous ship as always, good fun in a dogfight.

@Panik Goblin: No physics changes in the game that would render this ineffective. This is 3 months late, but did you check atmospheric thruster effectiveness? Remember that atmo thrusters lose power at higher altitudes, with lower atmosphere density. Atmosphere depends on the planet you're on. Gravity also affects ship weight and thus thrust-to-weight ratio.

2600 PCU is hardly a heavy burden, when Keen official servers have a 20k PCU limit. I have no idea what server would consider this excessive.

Not sure what is going on other than possibly just changes in the core game physics since the initial release, built this and it has charge and restocked ammo (nothing was inside the cargo as mentioned in the description). Once I tried disconnecting and taking off I came to find out that there is not enough power in the thrusters to even move the thing. Really cool design though, love the look of it.

Just because you play on clearly under achieving servers @Shortstack35, doesn't mean that this ship is a stupid thing. Why do you come here bitching. If you don't like it walk away and publish something better.

just wandering if theres a big block version of this, cos im not gonna lie im not a fan of the small conveyor systems, other than a small amount of ore and small rounds, theyre next to useless for shifting goods and cargo, sometimes its handy to be able to dump stuff in the cockpit and let the conveyor do its job but normally end up having to shift it by hand anyway cos of the small conveyor systems

not a mod. just take two screenshots from the exact same position, the second one with all but the conveyors removed (switch between spectator and character). Then just overlay them in photoshop or gimp or something

This is cool! I really want to know how you achieved that second screenshot where you can see the internals but armor blocks are transparent? Please tell me that's a mod I can get! Great work!
