This mod is a full expansion to Starbound, focused around a new faction called Shellguard.
Shellguard is a large scale mercenary group as well as a weapons, robotics and gear manufacturer. The mod includes a MASSIVE amount of new weapons and gear, new missions, dungeons, bosses and unique vehicles with their own game play mechanics.



To begin with the mods content, you can craft a shop from the third tier inventors table. From there, you can buy all sorts of gear and weapons, plus you'll be able to buy a teleporter to the hub world of the Shellguard mod. A large outpost on an alpine world, the hub will give you access to all sorts of content, such as quests, unique items, special story missions and more.



Some of the features of this mod, listed:

A completely lore and theme friendly mod to the base game, that won't conflict with other mods! (This includes large mods like Frackin Universe)
Two whole new campaigns with unique and original bosses.
An incredible amount of fun, unique guns, including a custom gun system so you can build your own!
Walker mechs, flying ships and hover vehicles, with their own game play mechanics.
Original music composed for just for the mod.
Robots such as drones, tanks and sentry guns that you can create that will help you fight, move around and explore!
A brand new hub world, separate from the outpost.
Mercenary missions and Arena fights, complete them for money and loot!
Themed dungeons for planet generation!
Difficult and optional end-game missions, that can go to Tier 10.
Unique tools to help you navigate around planets.
Powerful base defenses, such as automatic guns and flak turrets!
Brutal new mech parts!
Themed Decorations!
And much, much more!

This mod should be almost completely compatible with any other mod out there as long as those mods are set up correctly. (With exception of the original, outdated Shellguard mod.) This includes Frackin Universe, which it is fully compatible with.

There is one minor issue that can arise from using mods that change crewmate AI behaviour, leading to a softlock in one of the late game bosses (Fortress core). To avoid this, do not bring any modified crewmembers into the fight.

Sorry, please could you rephrase? I'm not sure I understand the question.
If you're struggling to find the initial shop, make sure it's a Tier 3 inventors table.
i cant anything the shop of the mod in the crafting station, does it mean i need to create a new character or smth?

I *believe* that bug is RPG growth. I think you can bypass it by using a weaker gun to kill it slower, if I'm remembering correctly? Something to do with whatever happens when that phase is one shot/killed two quickly.

I'm having an issue with the fortress boss... After a certain number of stages, the boss "closes" and turns off gravity.

But from this point onwards, nothing happens. The fight gets stuck in this no gravity void stage. It's like the game freezes.

Also, when the gravity goes off, commands like /admin or /help don't work. As in, I type them in the chatbox and I receive no output or error line. Simply nothing happens.

I tried to read the log, but there is absolutely nothing. Not a single warning or error.

I have many mods installed, but I don't know what could be causing this conflict. Do you have any ideas? There is one mod called RPG Growth: AI that rewrites monsterprimary.lua, could it have something to do with this?

It does not! It's safe to use with most mods, including XS Mechs.
