Investigate. Explore. Enjoy looking in corners.
This mod shares with you my own personal home which I use in Skyrim. It is a large castle East of Rorikstead. It has been lavishly furnished and packed with all the desirable amenities along with plenty of extras. I have tried to be realistic in the furnishing to help retain immersion.
To reach the Castle, start at Rorikstead and head East. After a short trip, you will discover the castle.
The Castle portcullis is shut when you arrive. Either sneak in through the waterfall gate, or use the pull-chain just to the right of the gate. There is also a lever inside the left tower of the gatehouse which operates the portcullis.

Features include:
- Brand new castle player home
- Operational portcullis
- Useable Dwemer ballista to defend your home
- Brand New NPC's including;
- Blacksmith
- Merchant
- Wizard
- Alchemist
- Guards
- Farmers.
- Grain Mill
- Small Farm
- Livestock
- Stables
- Throne room
- Kitchen
- Oven
- Feasting hall
- Library
- Multiple bookshelves
- Display room
- Sitting room
- Living quarters
- Balcony
- Fully equipped forge area
- Enchanting area
- Alchemy area
- Greenhouse
- Lord’s Quarters
- Study
- Private balcony
- Vampire quarters
- Basement area including:
- Prison
- Dungeon
- Treasure
- Safe storage
- 6 Large Display Cases
- 4 Dagger Display Cases
- 8 Mannequins
- 4 Single Weapon Plaques
- 2 Double Weapon plaques
- Full Navmesh coverage

Future additions: I am winding down my contributions now so please consider this a final product.

I love it, but some things can be fixed, such as the office safe, it doesn't work. or the throne chair, I cant see anything when I sit in it. I don't really feel like a lord when im in the castle. I cant interact with my workers. maybe if we were treated more like a jarl and actually have the option to control people change guards armor and go to war, this castle can have a big purpose.

Domio: I'm afraid a new job has sucked away my time somewhat, so I am struggling to find time for this mod. It's a shame, but I will try to chip away at the problems that you have raised.
Tarthian: That sounds like a major problem you are having! If you want an alternative method, delete the mod file from your Skyrim game files. Then try subbing again if you want to.

@FuriousSimian any eta on when you might do an update on this mod?
Domio 28 Dec, 2014 @ 10:53am
Perhaps you could make the children's room a part the Lord's quarters? That way you're not making an entirely new wing for just a children's room.

Hello all. Thank you for your continuing interest and contribution to this mod!
clark.sjclark: Thank you for your very kind words, I'm glad you like the house. Those are all excellent comments and suggestions; I have encountered the mounting one before, but havent found the conflict (if that is the solution) yet.
Sheogorath: Try heading to the basement and beyond for some secluded magical spots. As far as spell-book fusion goes, i'm afraid that lies beyond my skill to create.
Scythemaster892: There are plenty of NPCs in the castle. Loads of them! Hang out in the great hall in the early evening, and they'll all come in to eat. Say hello.
Dominicbellantoni: Thank you for your suggestions and your very kind comments. Those are great suggestions, notably the childrens room. Unfortunately, I have tried to keep the interior of the castle believeable to the proportions of the exterior, and so have rather run out of room! It is on my list of problems however, so watch this space!
