So we have a buildable Ancient Dreadnought. It has a special Citadel building that allows construction (Same as titans
and colossi).

Currently, you get the tech to be able to build it by destroying the Dreadnought, and scrapping it. (You study the remains as you destroy them)

The tech can also appear normally, and is more likely if you have the dreadnought.

We also have better Fore sections available through research. (For the one type) Titanic Weapons available if you have Apocalypse.

There are currently 3 types of the Dreadnought, and 3 GFX. The artillery one, the broadside one, and a carrier. The artillery has the same weapon slots as the original Dreadnought. Broadside has many smaller slots, so it is deadly at shorter range.The carrier has swapped out all the large slots for hangar slots.

No vanilla files were harmed in the making of this mod.

Current planned features are:

- Missile Dreadnought. It might not be optimal, but I want my swarm dammit!
- Different sections, that trade weapons for utilities, and vice versa. Speccing into defense or offense would be a wonderful thing.
- Battlestar skin. This one waiting on BSG shipset authors to finish that.
- Daedalus skin. I want this, but I've yet to find a decent looking one. The Tau'ri shipset is honestly a little low res.
- Dreadnought from EVE online.

Find something you like? There are plenty of ship mods out there, and I'm sure some of them would be willing to help with that.

All credit for the Executor Star Destroyer skin goes to Zeratul Virgil, maker of the Flagship GFX swap for NSC, to make the flagship the Executor, and maker of an independent Executor standalone mod, which this mod is fully compatible with currently.

How to change the model size? I think this model is too big. Can you create a version the size of a Titan or warship model? Thank you.

I did not make any of the models included here. I got them from elsewhere with permission to use them.

well Ive researched all Dreadnought Tech but still it appears 3 spaces at the end will not fill nor any select able items are shown for those slots

Last I knew, NSC added some required components, which I included in this. If that is still the case, filling them should work. Unless NSC doesn't actually provide components for those slots, which would be strange.

Ive got the same problem as Zebase where in three empty slots which results in the SHIPDESIGNER_SAVEFAIL_WRONG_REQUIRED_COMPONENTS error, any advice on how to fix that< I am using NSC 3

Update: Tested and confirmed mod will (mostly) work if installed late. This line:

"Currently, you get the tech to be able to build it by destroying the Dreadnought, and scrapping it. (You study the remains as you destroy them)"

...does not happen, but the tech did randomly appear as an option, I was able to research it and unlock all the functions of the mod. That said, this mod is trying to do WAY more than just make a buildable vanilla Dreadnought...and while that's interesting I'd love there to just be a "lite" version of the mod that ONLY does that, a vanilla Dreadnought. Something to consider maybe @James Fire. Thank you for your contribution to the modding community though!

I'd started a game, played it for awhile and found the dreadnought. If I load this mod in now, before I've killed the Dreadnought, will it still work?
