Description
Unique Factions
This mod aims to improve Shogun 2 without wandering too far away from the base game.
Factions have been improved in their respective field.

DLCs are not required for base factions, only the expanded DLC factions such as Otomo, Ikko Ikki, and Hattori.

Update 16.10.2024
  • Expanded Japan realm divide tweaks removed
  • Mob units removed

I have a strange problem. The Oda clan's tachi ashigaru are weaker in close combat - they have an attack of four, while the other clans have an attack of nine. Shouldn't the Oda ashigaru be stronger?

fixed it! for anyone with the same issue, unsubscribe, then go to manage game files> data> then look for the unique factions file, delete it, resubscribe and it itll be updated

new update isnt working or something... still need to research for ashigaru units and the mob units are still in, pretty annoying.

This affects realm divide meter for both shogun 2 and FOTS.. Don't install and save yourself a headache. Great mod otherwise

After some time I managed to make it work. For some strange reason, the problem was not the arrangement of the mods in the lancher (which I had already checked earlier), but the order in which they were activated. In particular, the moment of turning on the sashimono mod. Don't ask me why xd.

Otomo don't seem to have 150 range for matchlock units on Expanded maps. Very sad and strange
