Description
The Outlander Mark 1 is a 2-seater vehicle designed for crossing rough terrain, perform hard climbs and all of the Off-Road driving spirit, sporting bigger wheels and a much taller suspension settings in comparison to its Vector cousin.

It's a no surprise that it comes equipped with a selectable 2WD/4WD driving mode for either a more comfortable ride or for a better grip and power respectively, and in case thats not enough, an "Off-Road" mode allows it to beat the worst kind of terrains, as well as going through almost completely vertical climbs or descents without rolling or sliding uncontrollably. Stability Control and Unflip Modules comes with the default package, a secondary seat for a fellow engineer with navigation, sensors, detectors and communications instruments, and a sizeable trunk to carry all sorts of stuff or ammo for its weapons system.

Integrated towing magnets for keeping the Outlander tightly locked to a ship for travelling purposes and integrated jacks for lifting the vehicle for maintenance.

2WD: This mode provides a more comfortable driving experience on plain terrain, and is less prone to flips.
4WD: This mode provides more power and grip on all wheels, its on by default over the 2WD mode, and is better suited for crossing bad terrain and inclinations.
Stability Control: This module helps with turning, attempts to counter flips and spins, helps while performing jumps and gives a slight air control. It turns on automatically on Off-Road mode.
Unflip Assistance: In case of a flip, this module allows the vehicle to unflip backwards, use with caution to minimize chassis damage.
Off-Road: This mode is for the worst kind of terrain and climbs possible, it turns engines turbos on which provide a high amount of power to the propulsion, the grip control modules that attempts to 'glue' the vehicle to the ground wich permits almost 90º climbs without flipping, anti slip modules that prevents the vehicle from slipping forward or backwards on extreme ascents or descents with the help of the wheel brakes and automatic stability control. (Should be used in 4WD and with dampeners ON) (Caution: this mode will go over the speed limit and is not recommended for normal driving conditions)

If you enjoy this model, please rate and leave a feedback comment/report any issues! all my models are subject to improvements and fixes whenever necessary! Thank you.

- Starts with HANDBRAKE On, turn it off so you can move.
- Use the front camera on rough terrains, it’s very useful to spot rocks and obstacles.
- If projected, the wheels are not going to spawn due to wheels hitbox issues, I suggest to project the entire vehicle anyways, and then use the spawn menu to spawn a new vehicle and delete the projected one to keep the survival immersion and the components usage cost. I’ll try to fix this as the game receive new updates. (for die hard survivalists)
- Try not to lose a wheel, its problematic to spawn them as stated previously, all the rest can be repaired easily with a projector.

Cap'n, I still have a question.
Ask in the comments, I'll answer whenever I can.

v1.2 12/12/18
- A lot of things were improved and configured, mainly the bumpers were changed for better clearance, some design changes, improved instruments and rear armor, added a magnet for locking the vehicle in place. This was a mini overhaul and older models should be updated.
v1.1 03/02/18
- Changed front bumper to heavy armor
- Changed camera button on hotbar
- Fixed a few small painting mistakes
- Raised the suspension to the max and increased the strenght
v1.0 03/02/18
- Introduced

Enjoy!

Makes Sense. I am not familiar with scripts myself.

You're most welcome. Sadly as how timer blocks are today I can't set a determined top speed value when changing modes, thus why on quickbar 3 I've placed options for increasing and decreasing the top speed. Definitely on off road you don't want the 110kph default top speed, maybe with scripts that would be possible but I don't know the how to with scripts...

One thing that might be a nice to have. When you go into Off road mode. Lower the top speed it can go. This will help when traversing rough terrain. I did some minor damage to a gatling gun when crossing a washboard set of rocks a bit to quickly. I have put the Uranium in the Tunk and will see what happens. Thanks for your help

I'm glad its working as intented, also, yes its just the trunk, from there you can move uranium to the reactors, or, you can simply drop uranium in the trunk as the reactors automatically pull them and feed themselves, this model needs a bit of an updating for the LCD's, i should be doing it later on a little.

check if that works for you.

BTW, I am testing it around my base. I am in a mountain valley. Lots of steep unlevel terrain. So far It has performed admirably. No issue with flips or overturns.

The only port I can find on the back is the Trunk. When I put refined Uranium in it nothing happens. I did find the Starter Reactor port underneath. Can you give ma hint as to where the port it on the back.
Rodrigo  [author] 13 Jun, 2021 @ 9:53am
Are you trying to add uranium from inside the cockpit? there's a port on the back that allows you to fuel the uranium reactor
cyberwolfent 13 Jun, 2021 @ 9:38am
Help! I can't add more Uranium! Every time I go to drag uranium to anything other that the Cockpit storage, everything grays out and I can't add it. What am I doing wrong? I tried restarting my game. I built it with creative tools on as I am playing around with different Off Road vehicles to find the one I like best. This one really caught my eye.
