Description
The actual aliens from XCOM are available to you!

Well, Vipers, Mutons, Andromedons, and Sectoids anyway.

Features
All aliens featured have their own classes and equipment for them. Equipment is gained by building the medium armor schematics or the mentioned weapon schematic:

They are also able to bond with other soldiers on the Avenger.

Sectoids - Equipped with a sectoid blaster and their version of psi-amps. Has one utility slot. Gains upgraded equipment from the psi-amp and pistol schematics.

Vipers - Equipped with a Viper rifle and their own biological weapons. Has no utility slots. Gains upgraded equipment from the sniper rifle schematics.

Mutons - Equipped with a Muton rifle and the attached bayonet. Has one utility slot. Gains upgraded equipment from the assault rifle schematics.

Andromedon - Equipped with an Andromedon rifle and the base of their acid attacks. Has no utility slots. Gains upgraded equipment from the cannon schematics.

Aliens are earned from the Rescue Rogue Operative covert action that is added to the pool of covert actions.

Other Mod Integration
If Allies Unknown Redux is installed, the above aliens will also appear as potential rewards from Spectres/The Liberated and related mission content.

With Extract Corpses installed, Fultons can be used on stunned aliens of the right type in order to have a chance of gaining a new recruit.

FAQ
Are you going to keep working on this - not really, I'm just not super enthused to really work on this mod anymore.

Oh. Can I make something with this as a dependency then? - Go ahead! I ain't gonna stop you.

What about if i want to make my own custom version using code from this mod? - This is also fine.

I've run into an issue with the Taipan Hussar: I cannot fire with the main weapon other than with strafing fire and cannot attack with the melee weapon at all. Anyone aware of any mod conflicts that would cause this?

As a side note, i've encountered a similar issue with the Playable Advent Mod only with the Purifier where I cannot attack with the pistol other than with "Pistol Overwatch". Maybe that will help?

how do i get the aliens i my team they are not in the character creation

ok, so for some reason, I can't recruit aliens without crashing to desktop and anytime I try to complete a mission with an alien like a sectoid, the game crashes to desktop, but I was able to use the alien before evacing them and I own a sectoid that is completly unaffected, I can use him normally too, so whats happening?

Am I doing something wrong? The Mod doesn't give me the "recruit rogue operative" mission that usually gives us Alien recruits...

I also have a (positive meant) comment: If you can sacrifice the 3 technology levels of the weapons, you could just use the weapons integrated in the game. I do this sometimes for my normal X-COM Soldiers. The weapons work very well and have their specific abilities. Only some animations (e.g. vipers spit glob) look awful with normal soldiers, but should work with the aliens (also there are some animation fix mods available).

Is there any chance for cosmetics only for the in game aliens. By some other mods i have codex, spectre and sectoid as soldier outfits. But mutons and vipers were very interesting to complete an "alien squad".

hey guys its me ralsei i wanted to ask if anybody knew if i could somehow mod this mod to enable it to accept custom aliens. like the elite varients or perhaps the BIO troopers
