Imperial German Portraits Revived

Description
+++IMPORTANT NOTE+++
In order to (hopefully) resolve all incompatbilities I ultimately decided to move this portrait into its own Species Category. You will now find it in the newly created "Imperial German" Category. Unfortunately any Empires created by you will turn unselectable due to this. You'll have to re-select the portrait in the Species Menu.

I'm confident for this mod to now officially be universially compatible to anything except for Ironman and Achievements ;-)

This mod adds a new Humanoid portrait set to the game taking inspiration from the old German Empire (Kaiserreich) as well as the Imperial Eagle as its coat of arms.

There's also a Name List designed to accompany this Mod. It's NSC-compatible but you can also use it without NSC:

+++This is an Updated Version of Ulmont's Imperial German Portrait - Mod. I regard this a maintenance service only so I won't tinker around with Ulmont's work beyond keeping compatibility to updated versions of Stellaris.

Compatibility:
1.8.*
1.9.*
2.0.*
2.1.*
2.2.*
Humanoid Species Pack supported but not required!

Subscribe to Ulmon't Original Mod if you run a pre 1.8.0 installment!

Disclaimer:
I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE USED ASSETS AND WILL EVENTUALLY REMOVE THIS MOD IF THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR WISHES SO!+++

Can someone update the mod for 3.12.? With the new update something has changed with the portraits, which is why all the old portrait mods no longer work

For anyone who wants it to work, here is how:

Go to the save location of your steam workshop content (normally its something like: ... steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1181696971) the numbers indicate the game and "modpacks" so to say

Open the folder and you should see a german_empire_portrait.zip file. Open it (with winrar or whatever)

Go to common -> gfx -> portraits -> portraits -> here you should see the textfile 01_imperialgerman_portraits.txt

Open the textfile with any text-editor

Use the replace function of the editor to change ALL instances of hair_selector to attachment_selector

SAVE the file and YES save the change inside the compiled file if asked

You are now done and can choose the German Imperials as a new option

To anyone wondering about fixing the mod so it works with the fornax update, you just need to go into the mod files and edit the portraits file and change "hair selector" to "attachment selector", if its in a zip folder id say get winrar so you can edit the file while its compressed so it doesnt bug out from being decompressed

Hello TheBlack2007, Stellaris released a new update which in standard stellaris fashion has broken this mod, for the most part it works fairly fine, but the hair and facial features got broken. The issue seems to be stellaris switching "hair_selector" to "attachment_selector", but I'm not too experienced enough to get the zip file to function properly with the changes. I know it's been like 3 years since you updated this mod, but now after fornax it's completely unplayable.

Please Update! New DLC screams for Imperial German Run!

New Overlord update makes the only portrait to work the female portrait. My guess is since they removed/changed the old human portraits it caused these ones to disappear too if they piggybacked off the same asset
