Unfortunately, I don't have time to continue offering further support/updates for my mods. I am unaware at this time how mods like this one will work with the Skyrim Remaster which is due out in a few days, but I am posting this as notice in advance and from here on that I won't be able to help resolve issues you may run into in Skyrim or the Skyrim Remaster.

IMPORTANT: This mod is currently not compatible with the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch. Using this mod with the Unoffocial Hearthfire Patch will cause Windstad to disappear or never show up.

This is the HEARTHFIRE EDITION of Birds and Flocks. If you do not own the official Hearthfire expansion for Skyrim, do NOT download this file.

The original Birds and Flocks is NOT COMPATIBLE with Hearthfire.

The Birds and Flocks Hearthfire Edition will NOT WORK on your system without Hearthfire.

This mod IS compatible with Dragonborn and Dawnguard.

The only difference between the two versions is their compatibility with Hearthfire.

If you are switching from the original Birds and Flocks mod to the Birds and Flocks Hearthfire Edition, first disable and/or uninstall the ORIGINAL "Birds.esp" using the Skyrim launcher's "Data" menu, and then subscribe to this version.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES:

Adds dozens and dozens more instances of birds that fly away when startled by the player or another creature.

Also adds many more circling birds of prey along cliffs, tundras, forests and mountains.

Now includes more bats in dungeons.

@celestia(L)_kaligo - In the description, "Windstad" refers to Windstad Manor, one of the homes you can build with the official DLC Hearthfire (which focuses on player-constructed homes, baking new foods, and interacting with children you can adopt).

Using both the Unofficial Skyrim Hearthfire Patch and this mod will glitch Windstad Manor to behave incorrectly, likely due to misplacement of a bird's nest in the base DLC that the unofficial patch corrects the position of, which perhaps this mod touches as well.

This mod is compatible with Hearthfire, the original Birds and Flocks isn't. Both mods have been reported to conflict with Unofficial patches.

? What he's saying is most people "need" the hearth fire patch and since this conflicts with he or should just delete it.
