"Micro-DirtRally-Machines."
At first you would guess that the Art of Rally is an overpriced cute little casual title with few content and only good for in between. But the content and depth AoR actually delivers is quite the opposite and totally justifies the price. For me AoR feels like a grown up and especially evolved version of micro machines - we have never gotten - with the controls and content inspired by Dirt Rally. While still not too hardcore nor too arcady and through the customizations it'll fit almost everyone's difficulty needs. Definitely the new reference for such racing games in this decade. Almost perfect job Funselektor but where's a multiplayer!?
Verdict: An homage to 3rd person cam rally driving.

Aladdin - the kinda successor of Prince of Persia and the kinda predecessor of Dead Cells.
Lion King - Capcoms successor of Aladdin.

Pros:

+ good nostalgic feeling
+ okay gameplay
+ save & rewind function
+ short making of "documentary"
+ different playable game versions of Aladdin(!)

Cons:
- no button remapping
- way too expensive if not on sale
- no real achievements for the lion king

Verdict:
Two classics which belong in every serious game collection or in the hands of children.

"Ride or TT."
First of, I ain't a Moto GP fan, but I always wanted to take a RIDE. And RIDE4 tries to deliver a Gran Turismo kinda like experience with over 200 bikes and 30+, primarily, grand prix tracks. Regarding the handling aspect, RIDE4 feels more like a Dirt Rally than a WRC8. And definitely tries and is an accessible motor bike sim. The career mode features a lot, but unfortunately lacks immersion. It reminds of Dirt Rally 2 in that 'career' matter. The ai is challenging and tweakable but doesn't really recognize you on the track. And you can also add different driving assists to create a more casual experience. The main problems wirth RIDE4 are, the AI and the non existent but so crucial and fun real world streets.

+ accessilbe and challening
+ community made content
+ 180+ bikes, 30+ tracks/maps

Wekanesses:
- no open world
- no A to B tracks
- no Isle of Man TT
- non-personal carreer
- way too few real world street tracks

Verdict:
Really misses out to deliver 'the' Forza Horizon 4 or TDU motor bike experience - like TT Isle of Man 2 does!

"Could have, would have, but just doesn't - atm."
A release right next to ISONZO should suspect a nearly perfectly finished game, which BTW unfortunately does not deliver. It still feels like a very promising alpha but now after two years even without a real playerbase.
Verdict:
I am kind of sad.

"Actually I would not recommend it, but..."
...it doubles the credits you get at the end of every race in any game mode. And with those credits you can buy bikes, parts, clothes, etc.

Pros:
+ it saves time
+ manageable 1-time costs
+ better than microtransactions

Cons:
- it costs money

Verdict:
Kinda ridiculous, but not in todays microtransactions world.

"An example of how Space can feel small."
I love(d) X-Wing (1993) with its' B-Wing expansion from back then. And I can see how MOTIVE, kinda succesfully, tried to capture the old titles and bring 'em into the 21st century. And, maybe it's only me and I "evolved" too much in the last 25 years of gaming (Wing Cmdr, Freespace, Privateer the Darkening, Elite Dangerous, StarCitizen), but overall SQUADRONS feels just not good enough for nowadays - even for only a dog-fighting space sim. The ships just feel like some sort of hull. The highly mentioned complexity/depth is simply based on simultaneously managing energy, shields, repair, special ability and bring them together while having arcad-ish feeling dog-fights. And the visuals aren't really top notch, in 4K all maxed out it still looks kinda old-ish and clunky and definitely not sci-fi spectacular. Don't get me wrong SQUADRONS deserves it's fans, but it's not for nostalgic veterans who play Star Citizen today.

"Expect an unexpected death."
Spelunky 2 is an absolutely great, innovative and tough roguelike Jump'n'Run in a destructible and randomly generated environment, with a hint of SuperMario meets Indiana Jones. In short it's about avoiding all traps, get as much gold and gems as possible, rescue the damsel, make sacrifices, put aside your greediness and survive till the exit. Each run. Each fockin' run. And we love it. ;)

Pros:
+ love/hate relation
+ gameplay, variety, fun
+ fully destructible world
+ procedural generated levels
+ challenging, rewarding & addicting
+ killing the shopowner is a possibility
+ exploring, looting, digging & blowing up
+ 4 player coop

Cons:
- it is really tough

Verdict:
Dark Souls and Super Mario made a baby, again.
