Decent enough game. The main campaign is really well done, story is epic, and the characters are hilariously accurate to the universe. However, that's about where it ends. The operations are kind of lack luster and the PvP isn't all that fun.

With that being said, the main campaign makes this game worth it. Probably pick it up on sale.

This game scratches all the right itches. It's a great racing game without being too far on either end of the Arcade/Simulator spectrum. The cars feel fun to drive and are quite responsive. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, you'll see the headlines between a few races here and there and the content is pretty funny.

If you find that EA's F1 is a bit more than you can stomach on the Simulation side, this game tones it down to a digestible level. They start you off with very little complexity and then steadily increase it.

I would say i'm surprised that this isn't more popular, but this game doesn't have actual online multiplayer - which, to me, is likely a large contributor to its lesser popularity. However, it does have split-screen PVP which can be hard to find these days, especially for PC games.

If you enjoy racing on your own, pick this game up. It's worth every dime.

Incredible game! Moment to moment is lively and action packed. Weapons hit hard, the enemies hit just as hard back.

Additionally, Arrowhead are a very humble and responsive studio when it comes to community feedback. There has been a number of ups and downs throughout the lifetime of this game but Arrowhead always find a way to make things right again.

What’s important to know going forward is the importance of being vocal about our enjoyment of changes/additions as well as our distaste. That will keep this game on track!

This game is an incredible demonstration of how to properly execute game feel. They absolutely nailed three important things:

- Art/Animation: I am an absolute sucker for pixel art, especially when it's done like this. When you fire your revolver a large plume of black smoke is thrown from the barrel with a nice faint orange glow, then the smoke lingers for a little while as it slowly disappears. *chef's kiss* All the enemies have clear animations that communicate that they are about to attack.

- Sound: The gun shots from your revolver and from the enemies' weapons are so crisp and clear. Makes you really feel like you're firing a cold steel revolver. A few enemies and bosses have sounds that evoke a bit of a sense of urgency and motivate you to take cover or dodge.

- Mechanics: The gunslinger you play has an ability called showdown that slows down time and enables you to dispatch multiple enemies at once. There are several varieties and I won't go into detail on any of them because you should really try them out yourself. They are each quite unique and really encourage experimentation with positioning, weapons, and showdown varieties.

Kudos to each member of the team. I do have one little thing I want to say and that is I hope that the team keeps on this game and expands it. They have an incredible core game, they just need to flesh it out with more environments, possibly more bosses and enemy types, etc... Again the core experience is so rich with enjoyability, I wish there just a bit more room for it to really shine.

Ikenfell started off strong with engaging combat and interesting story arch (at the beginning anyway). However, you experience pretty much all the game has to offer in the first hour. If you're looking for new mechanics beyond that, you won't find anything more.

The main combat mechanic is actually really fun and engaging: You move freely from tile to tile and when you're in range of an enemy you select a spell and cast it, but you have to time your attack input well in order for the spell to really get any value. Each spell has a different animation and timing, but ultimately the combat comes down to timing alone.

I'm a really big advocate for representation of all minorities/marginalized groups including LGBTQ+, however the representation in this game felt like an after thought and tacked on. There was a review that I read that expressed it perfectly by saying that it seemed like they went down a checklist of Sexual Orientations and Gender Identities and slapped them each on a character.

The characters themselves are very two dimensional (no pun intended) and have little to no personality other than their assigned orientation or identity; This resulted in me losing interest in the story and ultimately the game itself.

For the record I kickstarted this game and so I had a lot of hope invested in it, so I felt really let down when I eventually felt it necessary to uninstall.

Rollerdrome is easily one of my top 5 games this year. It's the perfect mash-up of third-person-shooting and Tony Hawk Pro-Skating. You are always doing something and once you master the controls and understand how the tricks work, you can rack up some crazy combos and score BIG. This game is one of the most satisfying experiences I've had in gaming.

Guys, play this game. The movement is so smooth, the art is incredible, and the MUSIC- MY GOODNESS- THE MUSIC is boppin'!

But seriously once you put in a little time with the controls and movement, it's so satisfying to play. Level design flows super well, so the time trials don't have moments where you feel like your movement is restricted/limited.

All in all this game has everything going for it and if you're on the fence about buying it, JUST BUY IT.

Easily my game of the year. I won't spoil anything because this game is best experienced COMPLETELY blind.

I didn't think i would ever like a deckbuilder game, however this game has convinced me that deckbuilders are extremely fun when done correctly. The gameplay is simple yet it lets you play in so many different ways.

Don't look any further than the reviews on this page. Don't look up any let's plays. Just buy it and play it.

Pros.
+Great art and animation
+First character's move set is very responsive
+Great music that fits
+Easy and fun to pick up
+Hilariously long juggles you can pull off

Cons.
-The english translation, while hilarious, is almost impossible to understand in some scenes.
-Other characters lack a tutorial and feel useless (some only have 2-3 moves) Even if you go to the character help menu, it just shows you the move set for the first character.
-I advanced to an area where I was stun-locked infinitely (by rappers throwing the words "pump it up" at me... Literraly) until my character died and then I was forced to use one of the useless characters.
-Lots of items in the pause menu are pointless (you click on the "Characters" tab and it just tells you that you can unlock them and shows literally nothing else)

I had fun with this game, but I can't justify paying money for something that's this incomplete.

This is certainly one of the most inovative platformers I've played. I've never seen anything quite like this, it's almost like its own genre. They describe it very well in their first trailer with the comparison of it being a combination of a game of chicken and a round of horse.

Rounds often get pretty chaotic if your friends really embrace the true nature of this game, and that is to sabotage eachother.

Clever Endeavour really nailed it with this one.

Gorgeous animation with a very unique and adorable style. I absolutely love the voice acting as well.

I met two of the gentlemen from Clever Endeavour at PAX prime last year and it was a great way to really understand all the work that went into this game.
